I pulled my Ace Satchel out yesterday and noticed that I’ve lost a foot. I called Coach, but I can’t purchase a replacement; I can only send it in for repair. Since Coach Repairs ruined the only item I’ve sent in, I no longer trust them.

Does anyone have any ideas for repairing/replacing this foot? I love the bag and would like to condition it with something other than my usual Lexol since that doesn't really hide scratches very well. I ordered Blackrock yesterday; would that be better?

I appreciate any suggestions; I really like this bag and want to keep enjoying her.
There are Etsy sellers who carry alot of purse parts.....I've seen purse feet.

I ordered replacement feet for a non-Coach purse from eBay. They were easy to install and look as good as the original.

Mine really does look worn in; I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that, but I wasn't rough with it either. I did carry it through a few months of winter and commuting, but never tossed it around. Mine seems a bit dry too, so I hope the Blackrock with help. The leather feels amazing; it might look scratched up in the pic, but the leather is very soft and the scratches can't be felt. They're just on the surface.

It's a great bag. It's gotten quite slouchy, so I decided to get a Samorga for her. I like being able to find things very easily in my bags, and end up putting an organizer in any bag that is roomy and not very structured. I went for a red organizer, so it will be a pop of happy colour while also making it quick to find my items and help keep the bag a bit more structured but not stiff.

The burgandy is a gorgeous colour; it was my favourite but I was early in my bag collecting phase so went with basic black.

I love this charm, but it's both large and heavy. The lock alone adds quite a bit of weight. I put it on one of my Dinky 24's; it looks like it was made for the bag although it does clink a bit.
I was just thinking of getting an insert for this bag. I like it to stay more in it's rounded shape. I'm afraid the softer the leather gets, the more it will slouch. Which Samorga did you get? I saw someone mention someone on eBay that makes acrylic like bases for your bag to help it not slouch. Am considering trying one of those, too. I don't need the organization part as I prefer a big hole but would like it not to slouch so much.

My base isn't slouching at all; now that the leather has softened the sides are pooling down and unless the bag is more filled the sides cave in. I really like this bag, but I too like its original rounded shape. I don't think a base shaper would help and I've been really happy with the quality of my Samorga organizers (I have them in my LV Neverfulls and my Rogue Tote) so I decided to have an organizer made for this and for a bucket bag I love from Leo & Violette. That one isn't slouching at all, but I would like inner pockets to make finding things faster.

I ordered one of the LV Speedy 25 styles (LV-S25-3) for the Ace, but adjusted the dimensions. I've asked for L10", D6" and H4". Because the bag narrows so much at the top I didn't want to make the dimensions quite as large as the base or have it come up too high because then it would collapse inward when zipped, which would defeat the purpose. Hopefully I judged things correctly, but I think it will be fine.

I'm pretty sure you can order an organizer without any inner pockets if you don't need them, from Samorga or others.

I'm not sure if this is the color you are referring to but I can't think of another green color that's bluish. I have had the French purse wallet for a while so when the Sutton showed up I snatched it up. Coach called it Celery I think. View attachment 4013608

This is the color I’m talking about. It looks more blue to me, but maybe it’s the lighting.

(The image is from the internet, not my bag)

Do you use the organizer now in the Ace or is it something you recently ordered to your specs? I have the Rogue satchels that are also somewhat large and would like something to keep them more in their shape when carrying. Once they get weighed down, the front and back of the bag seem to cave in. Due to the more rounded shape, may not be fixable but if I can do something to help it, I would!

I just ordered the organizer today; after carrying the Ace yesterday I realized that I'd like an organizer in it. I'll post a pic of what the Ace looks like with and without an organizer after it arrives if it would be helpful. It will probably take about a month though; my Samorga orders generally take about 3 weeks but it says on the site that they're really busy right now and it's taking them a couple of weeks to complete orders.

Oh, thank you! That will be helpful to see! Then I can decide how I want to set my Aces up. I would also like to consider something for my Rogues and rogue satchels. I don't like bags when the bottoms are sagging and like them to keep their overall stuffed appearance. May not be realistic all the time and like it when I see photos of a nice slouchy bag.

There must have been another color collection, maybe limited edition or something. There were at least a bright green, mustard yellow, a darker red and celery; I think the baby blue that I posted is different.
I must say that Celadon does look blue but nothing like my bag's color. Maybe mine is Celery after all?

ETA: agreed on the red. I have both Scarlet red and Garnet red (not sure if that was the official name).
