Savers seems to be the best. They actually pay for their items which is why I think they get Coach. If Goodwill gets Coach, they usually pull those out to sell it on ebay. But a lot of times Savers will overprice Coach. I got one for $5 in Las Vegas once. I think it was cheap only because it reeked of smoke. I also found two vintage wallets for $1 each.

Savers buys items? I donate to them often and they never buy items but they give me coupons for the donation. Like a 20% off coupon and a $3 off a minimum $10 dollar purchase.

They do overprice some bags but every Monday is 25% off day and Tuesday is 25% off for Seniors 55 and older. They also run 50% off specials periodically.

Another nice thing about Savers is that you can exchange the bag within a week if you have the receipt and the tags are still attached.

They buy from other organizations that accept donations. I don't think they pay individuals.

Hmm. Where can one buy woodnstuff other than at http://www.wood-n-stuff.com/leatheraid.html ? This site looks pretty sketchy. I didn't see it on Amazon :(

Thanks guys!

I think sometimes it is on ebay but it is the same seller - they are the manufacturer. He overcharges for shipping IMO but there is nowhere else to get it that I know of.

Yes. Same seller. One of the small sample bottles should be more than enough to do one bag though, and I think he only has that on the website.

The website is pretty rickety but it functions just fine. Fast shipping too.

Hey latetotheparty. I will be also be in the Bronx and Long Island in June. You will probably have already bought all the Vintage Coach before I get there. LOL :D:D

Whateve, please visit the thrift stores in AZ. It's all about timing. You never know when you might get lucky!! I have my husband looking out for me too but I am sure he just tells me that they have nothing because he is too busy looking at toys! LOL He collects Star Wars nostalgia. :graucho::graucho:

Hey GGee, I promise I'll leave some for you!! Whateve, yeah definitely check out all the thrift shops you can, just 'cos I can't find anything, doesn't mean you won't get lucky, every single Coach bag I own has been from Ebay, I bet the prices were a lot better before though

Hi -- something you should know about Savers is it is a for-profit company, not a legally recognized charity. They partner with charitable organizations and collect donations in their names, usually paying the charity by volume of donated stuff, not based on the actual value of the items. The charity makes a bit of money and Savers gets merchandise. So if you donate Coach bags or designer clothing, Savers will come out way ahead.

Hi guys. I am originally from NY and now live in Mesa. You have great luck finding Coach bags in thrift stores. I have none! LOL
I guess I am lucky where I live (about 10 miles south of Boston)....I do find Coach bags - Savers (although overpriced many times), a bunch of Goodwills and I discovered a small chain, Boomerangs that tends to have a lot of Mercer bags for some reason...bought 4 in one month! I have also found some really cool old vintage bags with labels I didn't know...Furla pink leather cosmetic case that my daughter fell in love with so I washed and conditioned it and gave it to her..beautiful, strong leather that took a scrubbing!

I am finding a few made in Italy bags which I am loving....it conjures up quality, romance, style...anyone hear of these names? LaMarthe...Desmo...Terranova....Italian bags I picked up the past few weeks...love to think about who wore them and where? So fun!
