I think the listing will be removed fairly quickly but I'm posting here both to show the pictures and more surprising is the price!!

What!!....Are they on Crack!!!!!

This was previously posted in the Vintage chat subforum but is certainly worthy of a well-earned post on the Hall of Shame!

So sad… second foray into vintage Coach and dealing with a scam eBay seller, I think.

Photos of the bag from the listing - smooth crisp front, perfectly puffy leather around the turnlock, totally crisp edges.

Bag I received. And it reeks of cigarette smoke when they assured me no odors. And was thrown into a barely sealed box with nothing to protect it.

The seller is totally denying it of course and claiming that’s it’s the same and doesn’t smell at all. I get to open a case with eBay on Oct 22, wish me luck I guess.

The seller is cubanpapito1 so avoid them like the plague lol.
THe bag in the listing is NOT the bag you received!

In fact, cubanpapito1 stole the pictures from this seller's listing:

The buyer of the listing from which the pictures were stolen had 100 feedbacks. Cubanpipito1 has just 24 feedbacks so she's NOT the buyer who purchased that bag on July 23.
Don't worry. You shouldn't have any trouble winning the case.
Definitely not the same bag. Compare:

And in my opinion, this is an example of a seller earning a bright red negative feedback!
Did you compare the creeds?
The creed wasn't shown in the scammer's listing.

@Jereni - Are you sure the bag you received is even authentic?

Even if genuine, this is an obvious SNAD case and you WILL win it.
Here are two attempts at a photo of the creed, with and without flash. I had asked for the creed as I made the purchase, and the seller did send me a photo, which like these was difficult to read. I figured I’d get the bag in hand and post all pics necessary to the authentication thread if I had concerns.

To that end, if you all would prefer I do that - just let me know. I didn’t mean for this to turn into a long discussion on this thread. I can hold more posts on this until I have a meaningful update.

After @Jereni received the fake from cubanpapito1 and disputed and returned it, the seller who used stolen pictures to sell it the first time relisted again, and again with what I believe are pictures of someone else's item.

DO NOT BUY FROM cubanpapito1

ETA: As suspected, the gallery (main) picture and others were stolen from this seller's Etsy listing:

Ebay should have kicked her arse off permanently the first time. I had a feeling she was a serial scammer, she knew exactly what she was doing, then AND now. But you'd think she'd at least wait a few months before pulling the same scam!

I can't remember now, did the buyer who received the dirty stinky fake ever return it to the seller? Is cubanpapito1 trying the same scam with the same POS fake?

I believe @Jereni returned the fake to the seller and this is the relisted item. Since she was caught using stolen pictures, she couldn't steal those same pictures for the relisted item so she found a different green willis listing from which to steal pictures.

AAAARRGGGHHHH.

If that crook tries it a third time, I hope that whoever reports it includes links to both of these tPF threads about the photo theft and switcheroo scams.

Now she's mixing fakes in lots.

You mean "... AGAIN", don't you? And with an Entrupy COA casually tucked in the corner. SHEEESH.

Wonder if she's still in real estate in the Cincinnati area? Definitely at the top of my "Never buy a house from this person" list. SIX pages of posts about her with her BOTTICELLI4GRACE and her other more current IDs,

but the real story starts in June of 2013, her habit of KNOWINGLY slipping fakes into lots and then telling the buyer that it's OK to sell a "lot" containing counterfeits as long as at least one of the bags is genuine (!!!) can be traced back at least that far. She's a Serial Scammer:

and "lots" more (pun intended), with some links that still work:

There are 5 more posts on June 15, keep scrolling.

and the scammed buyer's post from June of 2013 is still available:

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM " collectibleonceloved " !!! Or real estate from anyone in the Cincinnati area who spells "Mary" with an extra letter on the end.
