That's my experience as well. My credit card company submits a pending amount that drops off after a day or 2 and then no other billing or holds occur until the item ships.

Anyone know of any purple bags coming out for fall? Neiman Marcus has a black tea rose bandit up for preorder. It has my favorite shade of purple as the suede interior. I have never seen the bandit irl though, not sure if it would work for me. Does look like an easy way to stash my stuff in the zippered pouch and leave the rest of the bag for baby/kid stuff while running a quick errand.

Yes!! There is an amazing purple saddle bag with a linked strap coming out. I can't remember which thread it was posted in, but I'll see if I can find it.

I like the shape of the smaller one but I think it is too small for me, and I think it would look ridiculously small if I carried it. I'm fairly small but for some reason, very large and very small bags look ridiculous on me. The larger one looks too long in my opinion. I wish they had made that one taller to keep the same proportions as the small one.

I agree about plain leather and solid colors.

Oh my goodness! I love this Rexy carriage print! I like this color combo better, but I love the embellished tag & coin purse hanging off the black/purple version!

Me too! Brass is my least favorite hardware and can be a deal breaker! And Gold or Light Gold is an even faster deal breaker -- thankfully!

Edit -- I can make an exception if the bag knocks my socks off!
