Wait, have you pre-ordered the Rexy tote yet? I'd kill for a style number or more details!
And for those asking, Coach traditionally releases the Fall 1941 Collection during August.
If I remember correctly, the entire Fall 2016 Collection released early online. I actually just ran through Coach's Instagram, and Fall 2016 was shoppable online by August 26th. It was them available in stores 2 weeks later. Coach always features some sort of in-store, New York City event that coincides with NYFW as well. Last year they had the Varsity Shop at the Soho store with limited edition, 1 of 1 styles available. This spring had the Elvis shop at Soho. They'll do something similar during the yearly NYFW.

Sorry to get your hopes up -- it was just a way of showing my enthusiasm. I forgot who, but someone recently PM'd me that her SA told her that it IS available for preorder, but I wasn't interested in shelling out 1K too far in advance (Coach will have my money while I sit and wait? No thanks!) Is the style number only known to SA's?
I hope there won't be a shortage -- seems EVERYONE wants that Tote! Wish I could help you, I don't even work with an SA.

Oh gosh that tote is just the thing! I will "need" it with the sweatshirt...but agree pre-ordering something of that cost is inconvenient. I'd prefer knowing exactly when my card is going to be charged, when they do ship. Hope these Rexi merchandise will motivate my saving ambitions!

Yeah, I pre-ordered a $700 Gotham Tote last summer. I didn't realize that the charge sits on your card as a pending charge until the order placed. It was only a few weeks until the bag came into stock, but it still felt weird just having that lingering around. I pay off my card(s) every month, and I wanted to pay it but couldn't since the charge wasn't actually there.

I pay off my card(s) every month, and I wanted to pay it but couldn't since the charge wasn't actually there.
Does the pending charge reflect on the available balance, or is it just there? My current card doesn't have that great of a credit limit, so I may have to just save for the money to get the Rexy stuff at their release.
Pending charges won't be on your balance (they are not payable/due yet as you have not actually been charged) but they will affect your available credit. It is like part of your credit availability has been "reserved" for later.
Often when you order online this is what initially happens - they just put a pending charge and you are actually charged when product ships. Just usually that is a day or two, not a month +.
Thanks for the clarification! I meant the available credit as you explained. It's strange that they'd hold it for over a month! I've honestly never saw any retailer that does this. Guess I'll be ordering when the items are actually released...
