This does stink, everthing I got isnt out yet! I just hope it all goes through and they don't start cancelling our orders. My SA did a presale for me on Thursday and it went through on Friday when the sale started. I need my duffel and uni, I will be very disappointed if I cannot get them. Lol.

I received a tracking number for my Rogue so I'm safe with that purchase but I'm so disappointed that I won't be able to get the wallet with the discount. I can't bring myself to spend $375 on a wallet!
I hope your order is fulfilled; I'd love to see pictures of your duffel and unicorn!

For those of you not getting offered FandF, ask for it. I know it's annoying but I'm guessing the SAs are most motivated to offer it in cases where they need it to make the sale. Frankly, lots of industries do this. If the sales peeps can make the sale with no discount, they'll try to do it.

It's the squeaky wheel phenomena.
I see your point. I probably could have asked for it last year when I wanted to buy a Rogue although I thought it was odd that the store manager and my SA said I was their best customer, and I answered by saying I was not going to buy a Rogue at full price. I got the Simon Mall discount last year and probably should have pushed for more.

I'm sure this is true. Last year when I was waffling over a purchase, I was offered it, but not until I was almost walking out of the store.

Someone said on the Coach PCE thread that each employee only got 5. If that's the case, I'm shocked that I was offered one. I've spent a lot (well, I think so) at Coach this year, but not with the SA that offered the discount to me.

That's a great suggestion, although by now I don't care enough to even try. If I have to ask to get it, I may as well just take my business elsewhere. I'm fortunate in being able to make some money by selling the Coach bags I'm not using, so that kind of covered the cost.

I can't complain too much about not getting F&F discounts offered to me because my SA did notify me of the pink and black tea rose Rogue going on the sale earlier this year before it was advertised and I was able to get it. But it is a bit annoying to be told early about sales but not be offered F&F when there isn't. I only actually know about F&F because of this forum and all you lovely folks! I find out so much interesting information. How often is F&F a thing and how long does it go for anyway?

My wonderful SA that I never met (lol) says it was for 10 days IIRC.

I am actually surprised some SAs processed preorders for 1941 stuff with F&F as I thought it has been the case for a while that F&F and PCE specifically excluded 1941; though I do recall during last SAS if you an (F&F?) code you could get extra 20% off 1941 items already marked down on sale.

I do all my Coach buying online so no F&F for me which is fine as I am also not interested in anything new and am also on a long no buy. I have so far bought all my 1941 at 50% or more off and plan to keep it that way though as it does bother me to see sales a few weeks after buying something full price, even if those sales are only for a select few (different if your an employee or actual family though, one of perks or silver linings to working retail!)

I don’t think an SA not giving you an F&F code should be taken personally. My understanding is the F&F really it is a friends and family discount and it is up to SAs how they want to use their limited number of codes. Yes, some SAs will offer to customers, but it is subjective and not/not just based on how much you buy (I mean people can spend tens of thousands at Hermes and still be told they can’t even have opportunity to spend another $8,000+ on a Kelly/Birkin, so not getting a n F&F code seems downright palatable!)

If I was an SA, I will be honest, I would probably give my codes to my actual friends and family. When I worked retail, you bet I took those little kinds of perks (which did not come along often for employees) and shared with my family and friends.
