Wow, those FB comments are 99% negative, and that's with Coach deleting the comments they don't like.
Personally I think this campaign was poorly thought out. They didn't take their buyer base (most of us) into consideration, they just decided to foist their idea of what they think Coach should be. And who do they think it is that buys their bags? Would that would be, unhappy, moody, sullen young girls/women?
I don't expect all the Coach bags to have this new look though. I think we'll see most of the regular lines we are used to.

I was just reading the last part of the latimes.com review--and if the info is accurate, it looks like this collection will have a limited release:

I wonder how many flagship stores Coach operates...I know SCP is one...and NYC...but how many others?

The leather on it looks really nice. I agree with you about the different colors. They are featuring a lot of orange with black/brown in these preview pics. All ready for Halloween!

LOL actually Halloween is starting to catch on here - but it drives the older Aussies insane. They want to keep THEIR holidays. They regard most American "Hallmark Holidays" as just another example of Yankee conspicuous consumerism. Which it is....

I love flap bags so I am interested to see these. Looking forward to seeing this edgy style along with the tried and true Coach classics.

Agreed! Love the satchel, though I too would prefer it in a solid color. Maybe some neutrals, some brights... Love the details on this bag. Feeling optimistic!
The shoes, however, are completely unflattering. If they look that bad on the model, I doubt they'd look good on anyone I know (self included).
Depending in which colours they offer the "colorblock" totes in, it might end up being more appealing to me. But I agree that they styling they used for the models is not elegant. Looks more zombie and edgy, not classic. Not a good look for Coach.
I'm with you too, no offense to those of you who like them, I think the bag and shoes are hideous.
I'm not an edgy type woman AT ALL! I'm all feminine and soft and luxe- please don't take away the luxe, Coach.
I found something interesting. After looking at the runway bags, I noticed a minor, but welcome, detail that appears on about ¾ of them: A d-ring on the outside near the bottom!

Fendi sells those fur bag fobs now and LV had the fox tails a couple of seasons back, I wonder if Coach intends to offer something similar.
I really like what I'm seeing so far! That whipstitch bag almost makes up for my overwhelming disinterest in the Borough and the Urbane lines. I'll have one in every color, please! ASAP!
