I'm saddened to see some of the down talking about legacy, particularly that this is the Fall 12 thread featuring legacy. You would think that everyone coming to visit the thread would be here to positively dialogue about the collection and get excited about it!!

Its been draining to hear all of the negative comments about the collection that some of us are so excited about! Particularly if some of us own some of the bags being talked about.

This is just my opinion. I get the whole being able to express yourself thing but it can be kind of deflating when your so excited about something and want to share and talk about it and there are people here dragging it down. :tdown:

Don't mean to drag down. The problem is that this is the FALL 2012 thread. It should not JUST be about Legacy, unless that's all that Coach is going to offer for the rest of 2012 (and possibly beyond). I don't mind that most of the thread is about legacy and I certainly respect those who love it as much as you do. Goodness knows I just ordered 2 Rory's this past Friday!

I am just desperately wanting to get an update about the other lines that Coach has and I would like to have heard something in the last month about the Carolines or the Madisons coming out, for example. But alas, there is nothing.......

I know how you feel, Madisonave. Legacy 2012 is such an exciting and refreshing collection to me that I don't get the negativity. When I first became interested in Coach two years back, *these* were the bags I was desperately trying to find. I waltzed into the Coach store at the Grove in Los Angeles in the summer of 2010 and wanted to check out a Willis bag (from the Originals line). No one in the store knew what I was talking about. I had to show them the bag in the book, and they said they could order it, but that it wasn't something they kept in stock. I'm glad to see the resurgence of the more classic styles. How much things can change in two years -- now in 2012, I routinely see pictures of famous actresses carrying the Willis and other classic styles. I guess I must be ahead of the curve. :p

Thanks for sharing your Duffle pictures. It's my current fave style, and your pics are inspiring.

And Willis too! :D

There are only certain bags that I'm craving in the Legacy line. Same with Madison and Willis. I like variety. :smile1: I have a feeling that there's not going to be much activity within the other collections for the rest of the year, though. I mean.. shouldn't we have heard something by now?

Kath please know its not necessarily you I am referring to. Its just a combination of "outlooks" if you will from several people who just come onto the thread and seem to just vomit about how much they hate the fall legacy. Its very deflating. I'm just having a rant....no big deal!! ;)

I have heard of Madison being refreshed probably floorset after next. I was just talking briefly about it with a peer at a FP store. She was saying how excited she is for Madison to be refreshed.

I know the Isabelle is going to be launched (essentially a lindsey but scooped down instead of domed over) I don't know of any Carolines but I'm sure there will be more. Maybe someone on here knows more information??????????.............

Ooh, Isabelle? I've always liked the look of her but was a bit concerned when others were talking about her strap that would never go down. Maybe they'll fix that with the actual launch!

So there ya go.

I just hope Coach doesn't lose sight of those of us who foot the bill! Because if Legacy is all that there is from here on out, I aint setting foot into a FP store ever again. And that means DD sure isn't getting Coach purses anytime soon either! :cool:
