I don't know about this. After talking to one of my friends at the FP store the legacy is doing extremely well and she said their store is well surpassing madison in popularity/sales.

I think this "classic" hippie boho look is definitely in right now. A lot of the grunge Seattle crowd girls wear a lot of the true Coach classics. Its a great look and I'm so excited legacy has launched :woohoo:
I agree with you. I love the hippie grunge look, I was a teen in the 70's.......loved it then...and happy it's back!!!!

I'm saddened to see some of the down talking about legacy, particularly that this is the Fall 12 thread featuring legacy. You would think that everyone coming to visit the thread would be here to positively dialogue about the collection and get excited about it!!

Its been draining to hear all of the negative comments about the collection that some of us are so excited about! Particularly if some of us own some of the bags being talked about.

This is just my opinion. I get the whole being able to express yourself thing but it can be kind of deflating when your so excited about something and want to share and talk about it and there are people here dragging it down.

I think this line either you love it or hate it. And I LOVE it! I've said befoe it's got such clean lines not all that mess of leather, fabric, patent in 1 bag from the lines previous. But I agree, if you don't love it don't bash those of us who do! Cause we are as excited as hell about this line!:peace:

I agree 100% with this. I dislike Sophias, Lindsays, Carolines and that denim bag thing they just did..but I don't post all the time.....or EVER..that I dislike them or think they're ugly. To each his own...isn't that what the world is supposed to be? I love the new Legacy stuff, and I have no trouble "footing the bill" for purchases......and I'm way past being young!

I know how you feel, Madisonave. Legacy 2012 is such an exciting and refreshing collection to me that I don't get the negativity. When I first became interested in Coach two years back, *these* were the bags I was desperately trying to find. I waltzed into the Coach store at the Grove in Los Angeles in the summer of 2010 and wanted to check out a Willis bag (from the Originals line). No one in the store knew what I was talking about. I had to show them the bag in the book, and they said they could order it, but that it wasn't something they kept in stock. I'm glad to see the resurgence of the more classic styles. How much things can change in two years -- now in 2012, I routinely see pictures of famous actresses carrying the Willis and other classic styles. I guess I must be ahead of the curve. :p

Thanks for sharing your Duffle pictures. It's my current fave style, and your pics are inspiring.
:woohoo:

Me too! The Legacy line is the prefect bag for me, they just keep putting out too many styles that I NEED!:D

I'm leaning towards brit rock grunge girl this fall (hippie was last fall) but the duffles..ehh. The style yes, but the leather on these pups is too soft for the hell raising I plan to do with my fall bag. Plus, all the GGs I see are wearing the Coach bags from the grunge era HAH so they've stood the test of time. I'm leaning towards a saddleback bag for that look. But, I'm still interested in a burnt orange duffle for my everyday look. I might play the outlet game though this time around.

I do have a trashed bleecker duffle though as a fall back option.

I didn't much like both Sophia and Kristin lines when they come out - and now I own quite a few pieces of both. (I DID like the Chelsea line but oddly own very little.) Tastes change and so do tunes - half the people who screamed how much they hated the Legacy line when Vlad previewed it have already bought a piece or two. It's okay if the other half doesn't like it and doesn't buy it - consumer demand drives production, Coach won't continue to make products their customer doesn't buy.

I really like most of the Legacy line but I doubt I'll be buying any of it till I get back to the US for a visit. IF it's still around. No worries!

William,I love your stuff, don't let it get you down. ;-)

Now...I want to know what everyone is getting if youre using PCE! I want a duffle in either Mahagony or Midnight, still deciding!

I'm deciding on these too. But it is hard to find a good navy so I may go for the midnight and get a bleeker weekend tote in mahogany.

Then again, mahogany has gold hardware so that is a winner for me. I am not big on SHW.

I think I will use this PCE for an Amanda flap, Legacy cell phone case, and see if I can back order a couple UV or Fuchsia accessories.

Do you have any style numbers for the fuchsia accessories? I'd love to order one or more with PCE, but don't have any style numbers. Also... any fuchsia colorblock items you know of? Thanks for your help!

Very well said! There are a few lines that I don't care for but the last thing I will do is go on their thread and start talking negative about them. Personally, I find it refreshing that Coach is changing things up a bit. I think Coach has done as much as they can with Sophia and Maggie and Lindsay and we needed a new look. To those that don't like the new Legacy now, you may change your mind in a few months. I couldn't stand Sophia when she first came out but after a while she grew on me. I've heard many people say this.

I know! Some just have too much blue in them and I want true navy. I've seen someones reveal but I still need to see it irl I think.
