I just pre-ordered the large colorblock duffle in fuchsia for PCE. I was told end of October for shipment... though we know that can change very easily. Really excited, I haven't purchased a new bag from Coach since I got pregnant last October.

My very first Coach leather bag was actually the red large slim duffle, about ten years ago! Kind of wish I still had it.

Recently I was told by an SA that FP have been instructed to really-really push the Legacy line. It is nice but I do not think they should put all of their eggs in one basket. Afterall, not everyone has the same taste...it is Madison for me!

I pre-ordered the large fuchsia colorblock duffle last month and received an email from Coach that it was back-ordered until 9/13...so hopefully you'll get yours sooner than October. :smile1:

Yay!!! I'm glad you're assured of a BC! How are we ever going to use all of these Buckets and Duffles? Maybe go on the 3-day rotation rule? I'm surprised they'll be on the floorset already... I hope that means more colors! I still haven't used my BC... just too hot here, we've had 100 degree weather.. it just seems like a Fall color, at least for my climate. Maybe I need a Camel to tide me over?;)

Good! Did she tell anything else they're getting????

It's between 105-115 here. Haven't moved in yet either

The weather IS MISERABLE here. Same neck of the woods as you, shoperadict!

I don't know what I'm going to do with all these bags I'm acquiring. I already don't switch out enough as it is, and now I can't seem to get out of the camel Bucket! I guess I'll just rotate them with my outfits this fall? And I keep wanting more. Sigh. I have a sickness.

My SA did not mention any other bags, but I didn't ask. She knows I've been coveting the BC Bucket, so as soon as she got the floor set list she called me.

I wonder if Coach is a bit afraid that Legacy won't appeal to a large percent of their customers, hence the push. This new Legacy doesn't really look like the older Legacy posted here that people love. It is much also plainer than the styles of the last couple of years. I have 6 Sophias because different materials-patent,python,gathered, tossed lace-drew me in. I can't see myself buying 6 duffles just in different colors. JMO.

Every time I've been in lately, they've pointed my attention to the Legacy stuff, and every time I've said it doesn't appeal to me and inquired about specific pieces I've wanted to purchase (usually Sophia). ;)

I'm also really bad about switching bags, too. I recently bought an organizer off etsy.com called Divide and Conquer (also the store name) that will make it SO much easier to switch from one Sophia to another. It literally takes just seconds.

I totally agree on needing more detail and different textures. I keep going back for more Madison, but a big draw are the different textures: gathered, pleated, woven.

I have a black Studio Flap bag from the late 90s that looks a lot like a smaller Patricia, and I got the natural Willis because it looked classically retro but with that cute curved shape. And I feel pretty much done with anything along those lines. I only carry neutral purses. I like bright colors, but I wear them, I don't carry them.

No the current legacy does not look like the original: i.e. Gigi. Which I LOVE. I do like this line. I think what is really pushing it for me is the leathers and COLOR CHOICES.

Although I Am not a fan of the Sophia, Caroline, Madison, etc. Loved original legacy, bleeker, ergo, Penelope, Bonnie.....oh, and Willis :)

After Coach moved away from their classic style, I was really into Hamptons and Soho. Then I lost interest for a long time until the Madison line was launched for fall 2010. The stuff was just so gorgeous, especially the Sophia line. It still excites me like the first time I saw images from the new campaign.
