Update: I was checking my emails Sunday morning and I opened my web browser, which was still on the page for the bag I wanted. It still had the option to add to cart so I did it just to see what would happen, and I didn’t get the error message! I checked out quicker than I ever have before and expected to see a cancellation email come in about three days. I got an email from Coach outlet on Wednesday as expected, but it said my order was en route! It arrived today and I love it. It’s the Patricia saddle bag in light saddle in case anyone was wondering. I have been considering buying a pre-owned LV Menilmontant and the Patricia is very similar but an absolute steal at only $129.
I do think the error message I initially received usually means that the item is not available, but my advice would be to keep trying to add it to your cart as long as the option is there and doesn’t say that it’s sold out.

UPDATE - I just got a shipping notification email for the tea rose charm (the single black leather flower). I thought for sure that order was going to get cancelled!
