Marine Rogue 25 arrived today. A crumpled mess! I have about 20 sheets of tissue paper stuffed strategically in the center here in hopes it'll perk up & maintain a shape. I have Rogues that I've used constantly for a few years that look better than this. It came with all parts though, including the 1941 dust bag. I have it hanging on the opposite doorknob of my Ivy Rogue shoulder bag. I'll likely keep it but jeez!
I love the color! That doesn't look too bad and it should straighten up.
When does the first alligator bag arrive to someone's home? I'm excited to see it but still glad I cancelled my order so will live vicariously thru those who purchased!
Mine won't be here until Tuesday so I am hoping the others get theirs first so we can see!
I want to see the crocodile also - I have one coming but feel nutty that I spent that much and might return it anyway
Oh no! That's how bad my hay looked...I hope you are successful reshaping this one, then I will have to give hay a second look....assuming the black streak rubs away.
So Ivy Rogue arrived today, and it’s going back without any sense of regret on my part. The only wrapping was an exterior plastic bag, and while it’s not in horrible condition, it’s got a few obvious dings and scuffs. It arrived with no hang tag, no clochette, and no dust bag, so I’m assuming it was a return. My overall reaction is just “blah”. I think it’s been awhile since I’ve had such a visceral reaction against something, but yeah. This bag? It ain’t The One.
The leather finish is smooth, but is extremely thin, and just feels greasy. It’s thin enough that it seems to accentuate every minor imperfection. I do like the Coach link chain on the shoulder straps, and the print on the interior, but not enough to keep it. I’m honestly surprised this bag doesn’t have an F creed.
I’m sorry to rag on it for all of you who ordered it and love it, but I’m having a hard time finding much nice to say. This one is definitely a fail for me. I’m assuming the ivy Rogue shoulder bag is from the same production run, so that takes care of my desire to order it as well.
I’ve included a picture of Ivy Rogue next to the whiplash Rogue I’ve carried for the last month or so for comparison, as well as a close-up of the strap and interior for anyone who’s interested. As you can see the cat promptly colonized the shipping box, so I suppose all is not lost...

If you can't get a free one, sometimes people sell them on eBay or better yet you can make your own. Walmart (and probably stores like Lowe's too) carry ball chain in a variety of colors (and connectors) in the ceiling fan area.
