This is now the Rogue FOS thread...LOL! There are some beautiful ones on this sale that I had no idea existed. It's just not a bag that works for me, but I love seeing the details on them.

I didn't get anything yet from this sale. Got a card case from the last one, not real thrilled with it, but it was cheap.

I caved & ordered the Rogue shoulder bag in ivy & the rogue 25 in Marine. I bought both bags at full price before but ended up returning them & not repurchasing until now. I'll only keep if they arrive perfect so fingers crossed!
Looking forward to reveals!
That ivy shoulder bag was on my list too. I got beechwood for 70 off last weekend though so am being stubborn not wanting to pay more for ivy. Now I'm having FOMO.

@Bagmedic and @Daisy22 I did a little digging and according to this post by @Satcheldoll in 2017 there are only 17 of the crocs. In case you cared. LOL. I am excited to get it and was looking for other pics but can't find any.

Well, I think the price is probably why you can’t find more pics! Lol. That is interesting about 17 being made. I think they know they don’t sell many of their expensive bags so probably would not make many. Because even the sale price is not a price they get many sales on.

I find it interesting that when I told my SA about my purchase, he said the bag was navy and they had 2 in their store at one time. It doesn't look navy to me at all. It looks like an olive green and maybe the croc is navy but it looks like a black matte to me. Even the description said it was Dark Moss Black. I wonder if this was made for an international release. We'll see soon enough!

I’ve been debating on the ivy shoulder bag too. I ordered the Rogue in ivy, but kind of wish I’d gone with the shoulder bag but now, since they look nearly identical, except for the top handles. While I’m normally a top handle girl, but I’ve yet to use them on any of the Rogues I’ve been carrying (and I keep thinking how convenient it’d be if those handles were detachable too). The fact that the shoulder bag is almost $100 cheaper doesn’t hurt either.

Also, I really wish I had seen the Laurel frame bag in the teal the first time I went through the listings! Maybe I’ve been watching too much Mrs. Maisel/The Crown, and am on a boxy 60s bag high, but I think that’s going to be my next handbag lust...

I didn't want to start anything. The thread was getting me down about my purchase for a minute and not because I'm not excited about the bag. I'm good now and realize people vary which is great.

:hugs:
Sorry this got you down for a moment. I know you're over this now and I understand that nobody was specifically saying there's something wrong with this purchase, but rather the commentary was around the endless consumption that these sales encourage and how we all are susceptible to this at times.
Having said that, I want to add that I'm exactly like you! When a super-unique piece (be it a bag or something else) that is just perfectly "me" (my style, my vibe) is available I will jump on it without hesitation. Much better to have one expensive perfect piece that you will love and that is just "you", than a closet full of cheaper pieces that are nice enough but don't fit your style as well.
Not everyone thinks that way, and there's no right or wrong here, but it's interesting to see how different people approach similar situations.

I find it funny how many of us TPF'ers are having a similar discussion around the forums about consumption and the seemingly endless carousel of consumption we all get on and off at various times ( off the top of my head- I had a FOMO thread ages ago, there's a brilliant thread on Editing your bag closet that is currently active, and there are the threads on Shopping your own bag/ clothes collections). A lot of very insightful posts made all over about this topic.

Enjoy your beauty and I look forward to seeing everyone's reveals. This sale seems to have had a lot of unique pieces (Rotarde as an example) so the reveals are gonna be awesome!

Thanks for this. You are very sweet. I have gotten a bit out of control these last sales and I need to rein it in. This one might have done it.

We've all been there (as @Alexa5 said) and I think that's what's interesting about this topic coming up on all these different threads that I mentioned. All across tpf, so many of us have unintentionally bought too much, and many people are trying to hold on to the feeling that they have "enough" now.
The market is designed to make us over-indulge. It takes effort not to fall for the temptation, lol. It's lovely when we reach a point where we are content and where any future additions are mindful ones that are truly special.

Can't wait for this reveal.

I decided to cancel my order for the croc rogue. CS was able to do it. So one may pop back up as available. I decided not go to thru the hassle of return should it not meet my expectations and was starting to feel irresponsible. I have so many bags and need to use those and cull the herd.
