I don't get people who say they'd never spend that much on a Coach, like they'd be fine spending it on another brand but not Coach. (Especially when they compare it to LV, which is just canvas.) It's better to get one bag you absolutely love than several just because they were cheaper. Most of us have too many bags anyway, so getting one vs. four is better for us.

I didn't want to start anything. The thread was getting me down about my purchase for a minute and not because I'm not excited about the bag. I'm good now and realize people vary which is great.

And that’s just it- I’m not into status symbols, although around here no one would ever recognize that bag for what it is. I really do like the Lindy style though! I’ve been kicking around the idea of seeing if Massaccesi or one of the other small Italian designers that have popped up recently would be willing to design something similar for me. Of course then I’m basically requesting a custom knock-off, which doesn’t feel quite right either...

For me, it's about resale value. An $1,800 LV will hold more of its value. But...that being said, the reason I wouldn't spend that on a Coach bag is that Coach will inevitably sell that same bag for less, so I feel like I am throwing my money away by overspending. 55% is not the lowest Coach will go on their bags as we all know. If it was one of my HG bags however I would buy it and love it and not look back. :)

I’m trying to resist! It’s hard when you know styles are limited and discontinued! But I’ve got my eye on new Cass too and may order without waiting for PCE as I’m guessing it will be excluded with my luck.

I cannot remember it’s definitely more blue but has a slight green right? Wish it was 70 off.

I do think about resale for most of the bags I buy which is why I'm so picky. This one is not one of those as I can't imagine there are many of them lying around. My Elvis is #2 of only 12 and I gladly paid $500 at SAS for it because I love it and it's totally me to a T.

And I don't have a problem returning it if it doesn't meet my expectations but not ever having seen the bag IRL, hard to really know so took a gamble. I'll either love it or hate it. If I'm meh about it, back it goes! I place some value on the choice and won't hang on to it if I'm not in love. I have too many bags that don't get used so this would be an expensive place holder. I do enjoy taking out a special bag now and then and using it but wouldn't use something like this for every day although we should use our "nice" stuff and not save it for a special occassion!

I feel the same way about it and am half concerned it might have been treated like some of the other bags I've gotten. If that's the case then it goes right back and they are going to give me a label to return it by golly.

I haven’t seen it in person on the rogue, but on other bags, it looks more green with a little blue to me.
