I'm pretty pissed right now. I ordered a small little Mickey luggage tag for my mother in law (who loves Disney) and it comes with wrinkles all over and a stain in the corner. I called CS and asked for a return label to avoid the 45+ minute drive to return a $12 item. Well I had to be elevated to a supervisor to get my pr-paid label. Can't help but think it's because the past two orders I've done have had to be returned for damages (and at least one the "return reason" was rung up as "changed mind" even though I showed her the damage). So over this. But shipping back and on a Coach outlet hiatus at least until after the holiday season.

Does anyone else feel like they're getting more damaged goods than normal or is my threshold for what counts as damage just really low?

I ordered a couple hangtags for myself and my mom. They have odd indentations, but for $10 I'm not going to worry, but agree that even on sale they should still live up to their Creed re. quality.

I totally get that. Mine was $12, so I wouldn't mind if the luggage tag was for me (since it'll get beat up in use anyway). But I can't give that as a gift, so it's a complete waste.
Have you ordered anything else from the outlet recently? Am I just really unlucky?

That's too bad about your Mickey luggage tag. I believe the Mickey items have been around and transferred several times back and fourth to outlet stores & JAX because the licensing had expired, so that they have suffered some damage. Unfortunately, when purchasing from FOS you may get a brand new bag or items or something that has been on display in a store or used. Recently, I a tPFer member received a Drifter that had been used. I believe the bag was returned with personal items still inside and some other bag charm attached. If you search the Drifter or Outlet pics thread you will find it. Return it and try to find that luggage tag on another site.

I agree you can't give as a gift in that condition. I tend to buy my mom hangtags whenever I see something I think she'd like so technically it's a gift, but not for any real occasion. I do admire your persistence in getting CS to give you a return label.

For me FOS is hit or miss, but most of the time I've been lucky and received my orders in good shape. Actually even full price can be hit or miss these days so I don't think you were unlucky, it's just how they are lately. A few tpfers on here will order 2 of the same bag and keep the one in better condition if that tells you anything about our faith in the company.

My Wizard of Oz stuff came in perfect condition. I think because they are so new. With older items, you run the risk of getting returns and stock that has been moved around from store to warehouse.

Haha thank you! If there's not much faith in Coach at least I don't feel like I'm just very unlucky. I appreciate the kind words ❤️

I went in to see if they had any witch bear left but they sold out. But I was able to place an order for it. I brought home a few things as they were extra 20% off.

I am not usually a signature fan but the trim on this bag is beautiful and has a burnished appearance. The edges are darker and it looks great. It's the Ivie hobo. I thought I share since you can't really tell that from the online photo.

Congrats! I like this bag as well and have been tempted to buy it and the Bennett several times. Enjoy.
