I just got an email from Coach outlet. It says "our online event is open now!" Then it says "not registered yet? Simply enter your email and password--then start shopping!" This seems to imply that the site is now open to everyone, and you don't have to wait for an invite.

I purchased a black Nomad crossbody during the last online event. It arrived yesterday, with no crossbody strap, very tarnished hardware, a small white smudge, and a few small scuffs. It also had no protective wrapping besides a plastic Coach bag. I expect things like this from Macy's, but not Coach. Has anyone else had something like this happen? I've been pleased with my online sale items before, but this was a real disappointment. I love Nomads but this one will have to go back.
Sad to say, but that's not an unusual occurrence......though it does seem to be one of the worse ones ones I've heard of. They have a poor quality control system when it come to returned bags.
That's a shame. I purchased four other bags previously and was pleased with all of them. Guess I got lucky. I was really looking forward to this one too. I only started looking at Coach bags a few months ago and missed out on most of the Nomads. I think the crossbody version is a wonderful bag, just wish I had more than two colors.
Don't let it discourage you. I think you will get more 'good' bags than 'bad'. And it's not just the outlet store either, I've heard that Coach.com has sent out a few bags that appeared to be returns too. The return dept. is probably stocked with men and they don't even think to check condition or if items are missing.
Hello all, when does the sale end again? I'm eyeing a bag on coach.com right now from the NASA collection, but can't decide if I want to wait or not. Will there be additional coupons coming up? I wish I had thought to buy during black friday!
I'm considering the Accordion Zip Wallet #F16612 in Oxblood, $79.50. I see it's on Coach.com, #58059, $225, also Oxblood. They look the same in photos, except inside zip pull seems slimmer on FP. I'm wondering if the leather is the same on both or is mff less than.
I don't think they look the same quality at all! The MFF version looks to have a cheap textured leather interior, while the FP one looks like it has smooth leather. It looks much nicer to me. The FP one also has a slip pocket on the back. You can see better photos that show the differences if you search for each style number on ebay.
Wow. Do they at least check to make sure the returns aren't fake? I've sent two emails asking if they can send a replacement strap and hardware for the Nomad because I really love this bag, but so far no response.Don't let it discourage you. That's probably a long shot, I'd return it or see if an exchange might be possible. A phone call would probably get you somewhere faster than emails. If they don't have anymore to do an exchange, I'd get my money back and look else where.....ebay, poshmark, mercari, tradesy, etc. Some stores might even still have it available.
I'd say MFF, unless someone here has one they bought at the FP boutique. There's one listed on Ebay that also has the Factory store code on the price tag.

That's another reason that I miss having access to the drill-down search engine; it was a quick and easy way to differentiate MFF from FP products. It would only pull up MFF items if you included the F in front of the style number - while the retail items would only come without the F.
I gave up on email and took your advice and called. They had two left. I bought both, hoping at least one will be good. They sent me a label to return the defective one.
