Ugh....I'm still not invited to these any more. After several years of being invited, I haven't been invited to the last 3 online outlet sales. CS told me it was a computer generated invite so I must not be fitting some profile!
Yep, I think once you are out, it is really hard to get back in. I've been invited without fail ever since I first got in many years ago. It is hard to figure out what the parameters are. Awhile back we thought it was related to buying too much or returning too much. I don't think it is related to not buying much, since that is me for the last few years.
I don't buy a lot from the online outlet. Mostly the deletes from retail. I may buy 3-5 items a year from the online outlet. I have been buying a lot more from retail but rarely return. Well...guess they don't want my money! I'm sure there are people who buy a lot and resell but I wouldn't put my buying on that level at all. I've been at the outlet where you can tell someone is a reseller and not buying because they like the item. Just another poor business decision by Coach. Maybe it was because I wrote a letter to corporate telling them the local store lost their customer service focus. I would never call a customer because of my mistake.
I'm in the same boat; I've had invites for the past few years, but nothing for the last 3 online sales. I have been purchasing more from the retail site, so I assumed that was the reason.

Anybody seen the hologram stuff in person? I decided to order a City Tote, but if they didn't do any better than last year's FP hologram, it'll have to go back.
I did. Didn't see last year's but owned original hologram market tote. The MFF hologram finish is nicely done, not a fan of the leather though - is it cross-grained leather? A lot of people love that leather though. I picked up the crossbody clutch last weekend and for $70 it's a keeper. The hobo was nicely done too.

Pretty sure it is, It's not a soft leather at all. The inside of my clutch feels almost plasticky...
I have 4 of the pieces from 2 years ago. The Market Tote is pebble leather, the Crosby crossbody, the corner-zip wristlet and the key pouch are crossgrain. I bought the cosmetic case last year and it is also crossgrain. Last year's collection was an odd mix of buffalo, pebble and crossgrain.
Seems like this mff hologram is their typical mff pebbled leather. It's pretty stiff compared to the 1st generation hologram market tote. Prices changed on the online sale today too. Some of the bags were only 50% off yesterday but are 70% off today.
I ordered the dark Harley with the iridescent studs, the hologram small wallet, the stars slip on sneakers & the outlet version of the Drifter (Faye?). Never got an email confirmation but who knows! What's interesting is that I put the items in my cart yesterday & the total was over $500 & I never pulled the trigger. Today, everything was still in my cart but now the items totalled just over $400...better sale today? May not matter if it never processes! Ha!
