Coach Factory Online Sale Discussion Thread

I just checked the outlet now and I don't have that header either. Not sure what that means. Nor do I get the message that says when the next sale starts. I wonder if I've finally been shut out.
You only see that header when there is a sale going on, otherwise you you get the page just saying what's new and sometimes it states when the next sale is. Right now I do not think there is a sale going on, one just ended yesterday. I believe the next sale is listed as Feb 6? If you try to log in that day and do not see the sale, then you're locked out.

What's interesting is that when I logged in, there was no reference to when the next sale will be either. That's why I was thinking maybe I'm locked out.

I've been locked out for almost 3 years. I was able to get in once this past November and then locked out again. Sometimes I see the next sale date and sometimes I don't so can't really say if that's an indicator if you're locked out or not.

Gotcha. This is the first time every I'm not seeing a next sale date, so I guess I'll just see if I can get in when February 6 comes.

A couple of weeks before I got into this most recent FOS, I started receiving the Coach and Coach Outlet emails on that account again. The emails had stopped about a month before I had gotten locked out 3.5 years ago which in retrospect may have been a warning sign that I was in a danger zone.

I had made an in store purchase at an FP store after Xmas shortly before the emails started coming, so I'm wondering if that triggered the unlocking (it had been a long time since I'd bought at an FP store though I'd made several purchases at outlet stores and coach.com which never affected anything). Of course, it could all just be a coincidence and I'll end up being locked out again next sale.

I got an email this morning for a tiered discount at the outlets. So I went and checked out what they had here. They had a couple chalk nomads and a chalk rivets Edie, and a few other deletes I didn't pay much attention to them since they weren't what I was looking for. I didn't want another chalk bag so I had them order me a black rivets Edie and grabbed a pair of sunglasses. The Edie came to $168 after the discounts. So excited to get it. Almost want to go back and grab the chalk one too just because they are so pretty.

So I ended up just returning the 2nd Navy Mercer that was sent to me in bad shape. I went to the FP store to return it (the 1st was mailed back to JAX), and the SAs were shocked by how bad it looked. After the annoying confusion about "oh, factory bags are made with different leather, so..." and me correcting them because it is a delete and not MFF.... we discussed the condition it arrived.

If possible it was worse than the 1st one, where that one just had a white scratch on the piping/sealant and scratches to the bottom feet, but this 2nd one had feet scratches and was completely crushed in the corners (which are supposed to be more structured). Since the straps and everything had the perforated foam fully intact, they speculated that the damage was not due to being a display (my assumption) but rather due to storage, where JAX must be stacking them all atop one another and crushing them in the process.

I'm kind of bummed but at least I was able to relay my issue to the FP store - maybe they'll note to be more careful.

That's terrible! It's like the person in shipping could care less about the condition of the bag sent to you. :confused1:

I know! I may have tried again but the 3rd bag might have been even worse! I mean, it was a good deal on FOS but definitely not worth the time/hassle of returning it twice, especially now that I have nothing.... Maybe it was a sign that I don't need another bag, hmmm....
