Yeah, I noticed right away how strong that snap is, was kind of afraid to open it when I first unwrapped it! I moved into the wallet today and I LOVED pulling it out of my bag to use. Mine just fits what I need it to, I keep my most used card in that front pouch for easy access. Every slot is filled and a few cards in the middle area.
I love using mine too! I've noticed that it almost glows in natural daylight!

Question: I've noticed some bag styles on the outlet site that look identical to some bag styles on coach.com. Like the Blake Carryall 25 in bubble leather, how is that different from a Swagger 27 in pebble leather (I mean, besides the small size difference and whatever the difference between bubble leather and pebble leather is). To me, on the websites, they look almost identical, how are they different? And how are the Lexys different from the Edies?

The top one (white) is the Blake (outlet line) the bottom is the Swagger (full retail)

The biggest difference is the hardware, especially the front plate. The Blake has the two turnlocks like the Swagger, however the Blake doesn't have the long metal plate. Some people say this gives the Blake a "Minon" look. The sides of them are completely different, the Swagger has additional reinforcements by the addition of the extra strip of leather where the strap is ancohored as well as the metal clip on bottom for additional bottom support. The Swagger also has additional trim throughout (in this example, the brown trim around front) and two hangtags while Blake has one tag. If you look at both pictures, you'll notice more differences.

Basically, the Blake is more of a "strip" down version of the Swagger. The Swagger is more detailed throughout. The leather is supposedly better on the retail bags too but that depends on the consumer. The hardware is more substantial on the retail ones vs the Outlet.

The same is for the Edie vs the Lexus as far as the details/hardare/leather/materials.

Both bags are nice, go with what you like.

Ah, I see the differences and thank you for taking the time for such an informative post! This newly Coach obsessed lady greatly appreciates it.
No problem! I think it's great we all can "educate" ourselves on the handbag world; that way we can hopefully make a good decision on what bags we buy. That's why I love these blogs, you learn a lot!

For the record, when I say the Blake is a stripped down version, doesn't necessarily mean it's inferior, just more simple. My mom actually likes the look of the Blake better while I prefer the Swagger, we have some fun discussions on who's handbag is better!

I just received my package from the sale, and since I have only bought accessories before, I was surprised to see that the two handbags I bought this time did not come with dust bags. I called up to find out why this was, and the man who answered he call had no idea what a dust bag even was. Then he spoke to a supervisor who told him that they didn't send dust bags any more. Live and learn.

Unfortunately, Coach is generally not including dust bags with FOS full price handbags or those full price handbags purchased at the Coach Outlets. I have received and purchased a few from both that have included them. But, it is random.

I am sure it is a cost cutting measure - but I do not agree with it.

Well, here's my haul...sans dust bags.
The Sierra (15.5") with accessories View attachment 3576316 Without accessories View attachment 3576317 And my small (12.5") Christie View attachment 3576317
Pretty! Loving that cream Sierra, will have to go to the outlet to check that out in person!

As for the dustbags.... both of those handbags (Sierra and Christie) are Coach Factory line handbags. Those never come with dust bags. The full retail Coach handbags are the only ones that come with dustbags and when those retail bags make it to the outlet or online sale, the dustbags sometimes are missing.

Sorry if there's a more appropriate place for this, but does anyone know what's getting deleted? I was just going to buy two more bag charms from the winter sale on coach.com, and all of a sudden they took down a bunch of things without notice. It's understandable if it was past midnight (I heard the promotion was until MLK day at 11:59 PM), but it was just a little over 10PM Pacific time! Don't know if that means some items are now scheduled for the outlets, though I don't know why that'd be preferable to selling it on the retail website. Thanks all!

I think they base their promo end on EST. From what I know...likely that will be the case. Those items will end up at Outlets or on FOS.
