Hi Korat! Thank you for the info and the tip. You stated chain is brass. So does that mean if it starts to tarnish I can use Brasso brass cleaner to shine it up, or does the brass chain have gold plating therefore Brasso should be avoided? I just want clarification so I don’t care for it improperly. Yes this gold chain is STUNNING! It really makes the bag pop against the navy. I will be careful with my greasy lotioned hands! Lol. I just had a thought, instead of folding the bag how about neatly rolling it and storing it in its dusbag? My thought is I won't get much wrinkles even though they fall out. I would like to save space as I have way too many bags that I need! Lol. I have another Stella arriving today. Smh. It was suppose to arrive yesterday but it was delayed. Lol. I'll post up pics tomorrow.Have had Falabellas that are 7-8 years old and even when I received them totally wrinkled, in a couple of hours they have "unwrinkled" themselves when laid out. Partly why I love them, the material also just lasts and still is beautiful with age. I would be more careful with the chain, to keep that nice plating on what is usually a brass chain, try not to carry it too much in greasy or sweaty hands)
Thanks again! I know what you mean about having sooo many bags! Personally I wouldn’t fold the foldover for storage. I stack my Falabellas on top of each other. What you want to avoid is the chains around the bag creasing or getting bent. If you must fold it just make sure not to fold the chains around the trim. I need to reorganize my bags myself. I don’t even know what I have anymore! But you will love your Falabellas! They are addictive! And cruelty free which is very nice!

Hi! I don’t mean to intrude but do not use any cleaning products on the chains ⛓️!! 😳 I have never had one with gold chains long enough to tell if they tarnish but the silver chains can tarnish and once that happens there’s nothing you can do about it. They turn a brassy color especially where you hold the bag the most. I’ve bought and sold a lot of Falabellas and only had that happen once so I wouldn’t worry too much. Thank you for your reply! Ok I will male sure to not bend the chains around the bag. Its such a beautiful bag. I never considered this bag before until now wanting the black on black and then seeing this navy with gold so I ended up getting BOTH! LOL. I don't know if the chain is truly black or if it's just a dark ruthenium but I will know shortly as I'll be getting it today. The pics sent to me makes the chains look black yet some make it look ruthenium. I'm sure it's the lighting. Hopefully it is more black then ruthenium as I want an all black bag.
Oooh! Ok I will not use anything to clean the chains. I hope the plating last a super long time. I love this type of 18k yellow gold! Currently there is no plating wear or tarnish wear to the naked eye so at least I'm starting off pretty fresh! Lol
I agree the cardholders are great because they are soft and getting cards out is easy. Also, the slots are not too loose, so the cards stay put. I like bags of every size and it all depends on what I need to do and what I'm carrying. Yes the LV speedy might not be the easiest to get into but I think the 25 looks cuter. I almost never wear my speedy.
The tiny Falabella is on my radar! Perfect errand day bag or casual day bag. I can usually make do with a card case and lipstick. Something in a bold color would be great. I also like the smaller crossbody. They might not fit a lot but they really dress up a basic outfit.
Clearly it's terrible that people want to profit off others by selling fakes but the other side of the coin is education. Don't buy something you aren't familiar with. At the very least, authenticate before you buy.
It's interesting this increased interest in Falabellas. They were always a little bit more under the radar and never an "it" bag. I prefer it this way because I think it's a classic that will be around for years.

I am somewhat concerned. I bought 2 Falabellas, 1 navy with gold and one I just received black on black. I see some differences between the 2 bags. Tge navy is from 2016 and the black from 2018.
The Navy has a more crisp lining while the black feels softer and not as heavy and stiff as the navy. That can be from use as the navy looks barely used. Also the Srella disc charm in the black has Stella McCartney on one side but on the other side of the disc it is blank as yiu will see in the pic. On my gold hardware has Stella McCartney stamped on both sides. On the pocket zipper pull however the name is on both sides For both bags. Also the link that attaches the disc charm is different from the Navy and the pleather leather trim inside the bag around the inside pocket has rounded corners vs my navy has straight squared corners. The long shoulders trap chain doesn't have much of a diamond cut either compared to the gold and the dustbag on the black is different then the dustbag for the navy. Stella's name is on the front and back of the dustbag along with it reading 100 percent cotton. This is on the front and back of the navy dustbag. On the dustbag for the black one, Stella's name is only stamped on one side and 100 percent cotton isn't stamped on the dustbag at all for the black bag. Even the draw strings are different on each dustbag. I will be disappointed if the black is fake, but regardless I want the truth. I hoping the differences are due to what year the bag was made. The Navy is 2016 and the black I believe 2018 however I have a pic of the ta so you can see. What are your thoughts?.

Yes, they look so nice all shiny! I’ve never seen the gold chains tarnish on any preowned bags so don’t worry about it. But I like the advice about not using hand creams and carrying the chains. I only had one black foldover with silver chains tarnish on me but it also happened after the bag got saturated in a monsoon practically! I was drenched, no umbrella and my beautiful Falabella was beyond saturated. Shortly after that I noticed the brassy color coming through on the short handles. I was pissed but after talking to reps at SM they said there’s nothing they can do, especially cause I bought it preowned. Ugh. But I don’t use my bags that long because I switch often to give them all a turn. 🤪Oooh! Ok I will not use anything to clean the chains. I hope the plating last a super long time.
