Korzinka thanks so much - that sounds very do-able. Luckily the marks are only on the suede interior... I feel very hopeful that it will work - I'm off to try it now!

Good luck, and be careful - look under daylight every now and then. It is enough to weaken the mark sometimes to stop it driving you mad, be as gentle and careful as you can.

Fantastically well, thank you, Shopaholicmum! I actually did as Korzinka suggested, and just weakened the marks so they're not glaringly obvious. The bag is a couple of years old and has been well-used, so now the marks just kind of blend in with the general wear. Great success, thanks again to Korzinka!

I've just noticed that Mulberry have added Care Products to their site :thinkin:

So, they now seem to be recommending Collonil gel rather than spray for protecting their leathers. Has anybody used the gel?

I'm going to have to get some of the polish for patent leather, I think, as I've not sprayed my Darias with anything yet. Will try to buy instore :p

Interesting. A couple years ago they did away with their own leather cream and said to only spray with Collonil. Now they don't want you to spray them at all! Maybe the new leather reacts differently to the spray and the gel is better?? Or not, who knows!

I've never used the gel but I think I'd still prefer to use the spray - it's quick and easy. Will definitely get some of the Lack Polish for my patent babies though.

Oooh glad you posted here dita....I have been using Clarks on my alexa....altho she is lovely i am still not 100% happy with the leather and find it needs a bit of loving to soften her up a bit.....what can anyone recommned? i have used Clarks cream twice and it works a trick but then when i collonil her she gets drier again? Maybe i should risk not colloniling or get the new stuff? in a jar??

Advice please anyone.

Thanks in advance

They recommended the gel to me too when I went in to buy some more spray.

When I spray with Collonil Alexa does seem to go a little stiff and tacky (and I only do very fine sprays) but it usually is okay after a day of wear.
