Hi there, my bayswater has started turning up on the edges is there a fix for this (it curls up uncontrollably!) I have tried a heavy book over a cloth but it still springs back up even after several hours!

Thank you so much in advance
Hello - this topic has been discussed before, see above. All I remember at the moment is that ironing would be an absolutely bad idea, don't do it!

Hi ladies
Just purchased a lovely small bayswater satchel in oak! Cant wait for it to come and it will match my recently purchased oak locked cosmetic pouch!
I just wondered what is best to use on the sbs? I have used collonil waterstop spray on my Lily and LCP. Would this be ok? Or is the gel best?
Thanks in advance!

Oh goodness no I would never have even attempted to iron leather! I read somewhere once that wrapping some ice in plastic then coercing with a towel worked? Wouldn't want to cause any water damage though so I will check back in this thread and see what other advice I can get! Thank you x

Hi lovely ladies just purchased a SS ink blue bayswater tote from Bicester...what is best to use to protect her? I've got colonil gel and water stop but the snake print looks like it could be troublesome to treat. Any experience would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi I have a Bays SS in ink bought a year ago. I gel and spray it once a month. It really drinks up the gel! So far no lifted scales and looks as good as new. So, enjoy yours!

No if you get a good one they seem to be fine. But I have to remember to only stroke the gel into the scales stroking down not furiously buffing as I do with my other bags;)

Couldn't cope with the silky snake I'm so rough I would have ruined it within weeks :( took her back yesterday and exchange for choc bays tote and forest fruits medium Dorset tote due to difference in price and no refunds!! Naughty me :)

Saw mould growing on my Alexa! Bought the Collonil Gel. Will that be enough to cure my bag?
Oh, that's not good! It happened once to me with suede courts (I stored them badly in a damp room). As far as I remember, I was able to wipe/brush it away and it didn't return in a dry climate. I did not use any chemicals, but I was not in love with these shoes, either.

Please help!!! I recently purchased a mulburry primrose in silky calf skin. Today I notice some white patches appearing on the sides of the exterior leather. I don't know what they are.... I try cleaning it with a dry soft cloth but they won't go away. Anyone knows what these white patches are and how to get rid of them? I have previously sprayed my bag with some generic waterproof protector.
