Hi, my first mulberry was a PP alexa and i sold it for that exact reason, i found the pink to be a denim magnet!

However.....i missed the colour so much i got one when they came back in the outlets and know now to use with light jeans that have been washed many many times or summer clothes :)

Thanks Donna. Other than collonil is there anything which would protect from the transfer??

I had one last summer too. I was very proud to own her and the colour was amazing but after one week, of light use in summer clothes the back was starting to show minor colour transfer. At least you know of the risks, its just deciding if the colour outweighs this for you. Very pretty indeed.
Here's a pic of mine before I sold her xImageUploadedByPurseForum1367181685.467852.jpg ImageUploadedByPurseForum1367181724.401901.jpg
You'll see the blue tinges here x

Hi Purse_addict, im not sure if there is anything more / better than the collonil, but I bet Moo would know if we asked her! :)

Ive decided mine is a summer time / summer dress bag only, its so pretty with the rose gold perfect with a tan and rose gold gladiator sandals

I had a close call with a light-coloured Roxy a few years ago - swift attention with gentle baby wipes saved the day! (but she had had a pretty good dose of Collonil spray beforehand).

With any light coloured bag you are prone to colour transfer. Depends on how much you want to baby your bag. I remember the first time I got denim dye on my first designer handbag and I was in tears. Now I just try to avoid it and be careful.

Is a brown silky snake print, And i have notice the corner is all scratch up... And some of the snake skin print is peeling off... What should I do now? Should I use leather conditioner? Should I just leave it? Coz this is not my everyday bag... Pls help ... ImageUploadedByPurseForum1367812081.432162.jpg

Hello SCI,

Lifting scales has been a common problem with the carved snake print leathers unfortunately and seems to relate to the leather becoming dry. Mulberry recommend using Collonil gel

http://www.mulberry.com/store/produ...care_product/non-coloured/YL0260_000X100/6624

(Which is available from Amazon and ebay) Treat the leather by working the gel in following the directions of the scales. When storing the bag ensure you keep it away from heat sources such as radiators.....

Hope this helps :smile1:

Hi,
Getting an Antony soon :D not had Antony or bag in chocolate from new before, any care advice please, I have Collonil spray and Gel which I use on my other bags.
Just wondering if I spray first and Gel later etc ? Not sure which I did with my Oak Alexa, as quite awhile ago.
Appreciate any advice or tips please

Hi ladies

So I have a pebbled leather rouge noir bays and it's basically been an everyday bag for the past few years and not in great condition - the stuffing is gone right at the base of the handles and there is a little stain plus some fading of colour in the corners - are mulberry able to fix this?! And if not where to bring it?
I adore this bag and just want it to be back in good condition

Thank you!!

Spray first to make waterproof than use cream or gel later to nourish but the waterproofing spray should always go on first for protection against staining watermarks etc
