Thanks Laureen for organizing such an important thread!
I've got a question for the experienced CL ladies - I get what you are saying about the authenticity of the materials and workmanship of the shoe itself. I have not seen anything said about this, but is it possible for the sole itself to be different from the other in a pair???
I will also post in the authenticity thread with pictures, but a pair I got on eBay from a charity resale shop had two different soles. Also the insole does not quite reach the edge of the inside of the shoe. I only have 4 other pairs but the inside insole DOES reach the inside edge of each shoe and the soles match.
Thanks,
Chloespeaks
This can happen if the shoes are mismatched IMO.
do you mean a simple mix up between a pair of the same size at some point during the distribution? that does make sense. so simple -- makes me feel better nillacobain![]()
THANK YOU SO MUCH! The vero cuoio stamp questions has been weighing on me as one of my CL's has the vero cuoio and the other one doesn't (both from neimans)...and I didn't want to think I got robbed of getting an authentic pair...
I am looking to buy my first pair on ebay...and I am a little weary...anywhere I can post a pic of them to see if ya'll think they are authentic. (this is my first time on this forum so please excuse my ignorance)..
Thanks for any help!![]()
