If your looking for a cobbler in Houston, try calling up NM and Saks (in the galleria). They both recommend 2 different cobblers. I think Saks recommends Shoe Hospital (dont remember which one, I think off of Kirby) and NM recommends this place in mid-town near the BMW dealer ship (San Jacinto and Gray). I wish I could remember exactly, but like I said, you should just give them a ring and theyll give you the location and phone number!

I got mine done at the midtown location. He charged me like $35 and did a great job on the Vibram. But honestly I would never do it again. In the beginning the color match was pretty close, but after wearing them the color started to get darker due to dirt accumulation...

Question about Jack's in San Francisco:

So there are 2 Jack's shoe repair places within a few blocks of each other downtown. Which one is the one that you ladies recommend (Sutter or Market)? I'm back in SF for a few weeks, and stepped in a crack and ruined the heel on my simple 100s. Will probably get them vibramed too while they're in.

Thanks!!!

Has anyone been to Deno's (highland park area in Dallas, TX) lately? I've heard some good stuff from you guys but those posts have been awhile back and reading some reviews on yelp/yahoo/google has me questioning them if they have changed since.. if anything.. any recommendations on a good cobbler in the dallas/richardson area to get my CL toebox stretched?
Would taking them to a nearby cobbler just to get them stretched be risky? It's just stretching them but I've never been to a cobbler before so I don't know how it all exactly works.. )=

Thanks!

Anyone from Houston, TX know of a good cobbler? Can you show me pics of your vibram'd soles for reference?

I was told to not take to Shoes Hospital so I'm contemplating My Shoes Savers but still search for people with actual pictures just so I can see what kind of job they did.

Hey lovely ladies! Was anyone able to find a good repair shop for Louboutin shoes in Chicago IL? I live between Chicago IL and Milwaukee WI, so if you know someone in Milwaukee, let me know, that would help a lot!

Any ideas for CL repair stores in Chicago IL or Milwaukee, WI?

I live in Milwaukee, and I send my shoes to Santana Creative in NC. I absolutely adore them!

I have a friend who had red rubber soles done by a cobbler in Bayview, though.

Do you have pictures of them so I can see what they look like? You don't recommend Shoe's Hospital? I walk told they don't do a good job...so I'm still searching. Have you tried My Shoes Saver?

Hi ladies

Just wanted to share my experience. Barney's Seattle recommended Ramuta's Shoe Repair in Seattle - do not go there! They did a terrible job on my brand new nude Simples. The rubber was too thick and the sides were rough. They also put the rubber too far back. I mailed them to Santana Creative in Raleigh (listed on CL website) and they did a great job fixing Ramuta's work. Before and after photos attached as a pdf file.

Cheers
Mona

I plan on taking a pair of my CLs to myshoesaver for the first time soon.
I will post pictures after I get them back. Hopefully they will do a great job!

I just picked up a pair of CLs that I got reheeled and vibrammed from Village Cobbler on I-10 and Blalock. He did a great job. He even special ordered Vibram soles, because he had some thicker red rubber soles that I was not happy with. If you PM me your cell number or email, I can send you pictures. It was very pricy, though. I paid $60-ish... :|

Yeah definitely! PM'ed you =) thanks!

When I first got my Very Croise, the listing was the wrong size. I am a TTS 36, and the shoes came 36.5. It was a loose fit so the VC is definitely TTS for anyone wanting a pair. I took these babies to my local cobbler and they did pretty great work with it. It fits snugly.

I went to Shoe Therapy in downtown Toronto. They charged $40 but the workmanship was very well done. I had a very good experience with them and will likely be back for business.
Below is the before (left) and after (right).

I took them to Leather Spa for just for the rubber bottoms and now they are ruined! They must have put them in some press or something - all the nappa is dented all along the shoe. I don't think there is anything I can do?:cry::crybaby::sad:

Whoever did this also worked on my VP Black spikes which was a little less noticeable and I didn't see this until I got home as I had my 4 yr old DD w/ me and it was the end of the day.I think they are actually worse IRL as you know how camera does not capture black very well.

Girls, please tell me that I'm not overreacting. I am never bringing anything to them again. I cannot believe that theyc ould do this as they are the CL cobbler in NYC...

I am so upset.
