Do you think this can be fixed?

i definitely recommend rago brothers in morristown, nj, thanks to stinas!! i wish i had a before picture, because they were REALLY bad. they re painted, put in a new sole, and put vibrams on the bottom. They also left the "Christian Louboutin.. Made in Spain.. 37" like i asked. :D i'm so impressed. This picture doesn't really do them justice, they look better in person. i'm definitely going to take my other CL's & even bags to be fixed there.

Question about Jack's in San Francisco:

So there are 2 Jack's shoe repair places within a few blocks of each other downtown. Which one is the one that you ladies recommend (Sutter or Market)? I'm back in SF for a few weeks, and stepped in a crack and ruined the heel on my simple 100s. Will probably get them vibramed too while they're in.

Thanks!!!

Hey lovely ladies! Was anyone able to find a good repair shop for Louboutin shoes in Chicago IL? I live between Chicago IL and Milwaukee WI, so if you know someone in Milwaukee, let me know, that would help a lot!

Any ideas for CL repair stores in Chicago IL or Milwaukee, WI?

I think my cobbler tries to rip me off. He said he charges $9 per shoe to stretch them out.

I think I paid ~$40 to have a pair of boots stretched, so $9 sounds like a steal! Alternatively you may want to invest in a wooden shoe stretcher. I bought one for around $25 and it's almost always in use. I have found that they don't stay stretched out as long as my professionally-stretched shoes though.

Doesn't sound like a rip off to me. Is he putting them on a machine overnight to stretch? Leather Spa in NYC charged me $10 per shoe the time I took my pair to them.

Thanks ladies! :flowers: I don't feel so bad now!! He said "I can stretch them really fast, $9 per shoe", so it doesn't sound like overnight to me? But anyway now I know! Do you have any links to shoe-stretchers that are good? I tried searching on amazon and almost all of them have very poor reviews :smile1:

Perhaps you should ask your cobbler how he's stretching them. If he says with his hands or similar to how some SAs at department stores stretch shoes (ie. in 2 minutes), then maybe $9 per shoe is pricey.
