I bought Alti 140 from the Outnet sale and the right heel is slanted. Do you think a cobbler could fix the slant and straighten the heel or is this a lost cause and I should return them? I would probably have to ship them out to NY which is the closest reputable cobbler, I wouldn't trust any in my area to do something like this.
thanks!!

Another great Cobbler resource in Atlanta! Much more reasonable than Trio and excellent work. In fact, they corrected a shody vibram resoling that was done by Trio. One small caveat; they are really selective on the services they provide.

When you ship several pairs of shoes at one time to a cobbler for repair, do you ship them in their individual CL box and put them all together in one big shipping box or do you put each pair in their dustbags then place in a shipping box, nicely and securely packed with bubble "stuff" of course.
I plan to send 3 pairs to LeatherSpa but if I were to ship them in their CL box the shipping would probably be really crazy. So I was wondering if it'd be safe to ship each shoe in a dustbag and pack with peanuts, etc and then into one shipping box.

Hope that made sense. Basically what I'm asking is....when you ship several pairs to a cobbler, how do you ship them? :amuse: thanks!!!!

I adore the Lapono style and these are the exact perfect size (I have the suede ones in a 42).

I can't tell from the pictures how bad the split is - whether it's actually separated all the way through or not... but at the BIN price I'm worried about them disappearing suddenly.

Thoughts much appreciated!

It would probably be best to email these pics to MM7 and see what they have to say.

Can anyone recommend a good cobbler in perth who can stretch your shoes reliably, and stocks red vibram soles??

well, im guessing the chances of someone having any knowledge of this wld be pretty remote.. But i'll give it a shot anyway... :flowers:

If you cannot find one in West Covina/Alhambra; try calling one of the recommended LA cobblers and ask for same day service. You can spend a couple hours shopping or having lunch, the whole process only takes about 90 minutes ;)
