I just dropped of two pairs to Deno's in Dallas off Oaklawn to get some work done. One pair of som100's that need the toebox stretched and a pair of marpoil's that need the slinback strap shorter. I will let everyone know how they fit/look when I get my babies back Tuesday!

Anyone know of a good cobbler in Tulsa, OK? I would like to have my shoes vibrammed and have heel tips changed. Or any cobbler that I can mail my shoes to nearby? Thanks!!

For CL lovers in Singapore, there is a shoe repair shop at Junction 8, Bishan basement near NTUC Fairprice.... The uncle offers 1.6mm vibram red soles for just $18 a pair! He did a good job on a few pairs of mine, :smile1:

I picked up my shoes from Deno's in Dallas today. The Som's were stretched to capacity and they seem like they may be wearable now (:woohoo:) My Marpoils had the slingback shortened and they fit like a glove. The staff was friendly and for both jobs it only cost $28 . Definitely recommend for those in DFW area.

Ladies, I'm here in Elk Grove, close to CA capitol Sacramento.

I've heard horror stories about Schroeder's. So I steered clear and instead found New Life Shoe repair. I took two pairs of CL's and my HG Manolo's to him for service. He did a great job, in a few days, for only $20 each. He calls CL's the "french shoes." His clients all bring in designer shoes so he's very careful to consistently wash his hands. I'm also very excited cause he immediately removed the mystery scuff on my new patent metal VP's.

Call Dan at New Life Shoe Repair.

does anyone have details of a louboutin cobbler in london, im actually in north yorkshire but am happy to send to london. My soles are in desperate need of repair- many thanksxxx

I'm not in London but I just buy the Vibram sols from eBay and then take them to a local chain of shoe repairers (Timpsons) they have done a great job!

If anyone in the Seattle area is looking for a cobbler, make the trek to Kirkland and go see Scott at the Totem Lake Shoe Repair.

Totem Lake Shoe Repair 12553 116th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034-4310 (425) 821-1355 () ‎

He does an amazing job, is really cheap (fixed a dye job to leather, 2 new red soles, and 2 bottles of protectant for $46!) and has red soles. :yahoo:

I'm only going to go to him now.

for the pittsburgh ladies --

i took a pair that were pretty beat up to a cobbler in the north hills, alexander's shoe repair. he already had red vibrams (the thicker ones, though), and he did a decent job at repairing the nicks in the heels. he did not have the dye colors available for the shoes (to spruce them up), so i will be adding a fresh coat myself.

the vibrams came out nice, but he was a little sloppy with the sharpie. it's on the bottom so i don't really care, but i know some people might be bothered by that.

it was $30 to have him fix the nicks in the back of the heels and vibram the soles, so i don't know how much just having them vibramed is. i will be bringing another pair just to get rubber soles put on so i will report back how much those are.

located on perrysville ave (19 north) at cumberland road, near north allegheny middle school.

For the London ladies, I am loving classic shoes. My experiences so far:

1) Scraped leather on heel of my patent decolletes. They were so stuck between cobbles that I had to take my foot out and pull them out with both hands.
They have the same leather used at the louboutin factory so took off the ruined leather on the heel and replaced it with identical leather. The heels look brand new. It was £26 for 1, £40 for both.

2) my friend had scratched the leather on her black kid shoes, they recommended to polish the heels instead and that was only £10.

3) getting my piros vibrammed now, they actually don't recommend vibrams as it voids the louboutin 'warranty' since it's an alteration and it can also alter the balance of the shoe which raises risk of heel snapping. Will report back when I get them. £20

The only bad thing is that it takes a week to get things done. Been very happy so far.

does any of you ladies know a cobbler from Montreal, Canada who would be able to do a good job with Vibrams?

thank you!

Hi! I'm also from Montreal, and was told by a SA at Rosenstein to call Carinthia Shoe Co, on St Marc Street, 514-935-8475

Instead of Vibram soles, they use Topy and as of fall 2010, charge $25/pair and they have red. http://www.topy.fr/en/Home

I can't speak of quality of work, as I just learned about them myself, but perhaps before you have your shoes re-soled you may wish to ask to see their other work.

Otherwise, you may wish to call Holts for another recommendation.

Let me know what you find -- I too need to have soles applied.
Cheers!
