Thank you, everyone, for welcoming my Jandami earlier into this normally all-silk thread. You are all so wonderful.

As indicated before, I've been on a bit of a buying spree, and mousselines were part of that. I have a couple more new ones to share, plus pictures of ones I've had for a while now. I don't think I've shared them here—but apologies if I'm post duplicates. But as others have noted, mousselines are so hard to capture that maybe having additional pics is a good thing.

First up is one of my favorite additions to the H scarf collection: Annie Faivre's Au Fil de la Soie GM in a lemon yellow, salmon pink, and turquoise. This scarf is my summer delight.

The second mousse I'm sharing this evening is called "Arabesques"—the name of my handle, in fact. I talk more about the design and what it means to me on my blog, but I'll share here that I've hunted for the perfect color way of the design for many years before finding it on Jan's Its-All-Goode site. She's a dream to work with—which is important when purchasing a changeant mousseline that is impossible to photograph. The colors are copper/bronze shot with aubergine.

This will be one of my primary scarves come fall and winter . . . The copper will look fantastic with my winter shearling coat.

And finally I'd like to share some pictures of the mousselines I've worn incessantly the past few years. These are among my most beloved sartorial objects—my very favorites.

The rouge vif Carré Kantha from the Year of India . . .

The black La Danse from the mid-2000s . . .

The vivid blue La Danse from the mid-2000s . . .

And the three of them together . . .

I have a couple more to post soon . . . :p I ADORE mousselines. I wear them summer or winter and in all weather in between. They are the perfect scarves.

Such a feast for the moussie - loving senses!
I started out with CSGMs, which I love, but once getting my first moussie I was hooked, they are so angelic.

Thank you for sharing, I look forward to seeing your others.

That is such a beautiful collection! :D

Hi everyone.

I've been busily photographing my collection of mousselines to add here to the ODE—one of my favorite to view. I would like to start with an unusual one. I realize that this thread mostly covers the silk mousselines, but this cotton/silk mousse is very special.

This is an Étole Jamdani crafted in Bengal for the Year of India SS2008. After six years of searching, I finally found one of these holy grails. Jamdani is an exceptional form of weaving that's been designated a UNESCO Intangible Cutural Heritage of Humanity. It's one of the types of Indian weaving I've been wishing to acquire for over 15 years, and it seems so fitting that Hermès would cultivate and celebrate this craft.

Thank you for letting me share.
arabesques, I'm horribly late on this plus my quote function doesn't work, but this Jamdani is unique and crazy beautiful! You must be over the moon finding your HG! Major congrats!

arabesques, all are beauties. But this Au Fil de la Soie, OMG !!!

Thank you, Anfang. Yes, the Au Fil de la Soie is a veritable treasure. I'm not sure there's a happier slip of silk in the world.

And thanks again! Yes—my joy in finding this! And even more . . . I found ANOTHER that I just received last night. The new one is pale ivory and GOLD. :p I'm truly over the moon and now wish to find them all.

That is such a beautiful collection! :D

Thank you, Hat Trick. The collection brings me much pleasure.

Thank you, BritAbroad. Angelic is the perfect word for these as they float on a summer breeze like a pair of wings.
