Hi everyone.

I've been busily photographing my collection of mousselines to add here to the ODE—one of my favorite to view. I would like to start with an unusual one. I realize that this thread mostly covers the silk mousselines, but this cotton/silk mousse is very special.

This is an Étole Jamdani crafted in Bengal for the Year of India SS2008. After six years of searching, I finally found one of these holy grails. Jamdani is an exceptional form of weaving that's been designated a UNESCO Intangible Cutural Heritage of Humanity. It's one of the types of Indian weaving I've been wishing to acquire for over 15 years, and it seems so fitting that Hermès would cultivate and celebrate this craft.

My dear Croisette, congratulations on two stunning additions! The FdA and PdP are just beautiful! I have loved this cw of PdP from the release and am so tempted once again!;) I just found a pair of trousers that would be lovely with the coppery color border. :graucho: I am trying to stay away from shopping till I am ready for Fall, but oh my! This is temptation at the greatest level! ha! You did so well with your newest mousses!:woohoo:
