Hi All, I think I was enticed by TT's and SammyRoyal's earlier posting of this pattern and subconsciously went for the color after seeing Chestnutty's beautiful new moussie!

A couple of pics of my first (and not last) of the season, Casques et Plumets in cw #3…so bright and airy for summer!!! I love the blue border. The pictures do not do this cw justice:)

(I saw another cw that I may have to get as well! ):graucho:

This is fabulous Hopiko, such a great choice for summer!

Textilegirl - Have you got any AM mousse yet my dear? You may want to decide soon, last month when my SA checked there were not a lot available anymore in the U.S. I know AM colorways were kind of odd, I almost passed them all, but I figured perhaps I needed to step off my comfort zone for this mousse. After all, Axis Mundi 90cm was my first H carré and having its mousse format is a must for me.

True confessions Chestnutty -- I have been dithering, unable to make up my mind. I have a feeling I will regret passing on sbelle's gorgeous green Festival but I was determined to be sensible (what the heck was I thinking :roflmfao: ) and to try to make a dent in the existing yet-to-be-worn pile of mousselines. Well, the pile is still there, and I'm still pining over the one that probably got away. Sigh. So many beautiful mousselines and only one neck....:D

Wow the colors are so fresh, Hopiko! Make me wanna get some kiwi to munch on right now!
I bet it will look great with a green dress or white tee and yellow skirt combo!

Hmmmm, kiwi....not only to munch on, but maybe a bag, too:D (Note to self, must buy new bag to match moussie LOL!) Thanks, Chestnutty!!

Hopiko! We are twins...this looks fabulous on you. Which makes me worry a tad since our coloring is nothing alike and it is perfection on you - LOL!! I usually have to avoid green because it doesn't look good on me and I generally avoid blue because I don't much like it. But there was something about the aqua shade and the bright greens that made me fall hard for this one! Your modeling shots are fabulous!! Sure wish it would look nearly as good on me! ;)

So happy to be your twin....I bet it looks abfab on you!!! Aren't the colors just so fun? This is definitely not a color I have already so was so happy to find it:D

Wow, this cw is GORGEOUS! I'm not a fan of green in general, but this looks stunning on you!
Major congrats, hopiko!

Thank you!!!! Yes, I am definitely more a blue person but just loved this cw for summer!

Stunning!

:DThank you!!!!:D

Thank you!!! When my wonderful SA opened the moussie drawer, it immediately jumped out at me. At first I thought it would be too bright but as with so many things "H", I loved the way it looked tied!!:D

Sigh. We all have that yet-to-be-worn piles, textilegirl. So guilty!
Any mousse has tickled your fancy from this spring season yet? Since there will be no mousses next Fall, I'm feeling I should buy a mousse this season, but I'm not yet 100% in love with any just yet. How about you?

My first mousseline, in love with it. For your reference.

Just wanna share with scarfies yet another crazy stage of my silk slope.
So, I have been thinking about this mousse for a looooong time, but couldn't decide because the colorway is so off my comfort zone. For mousselines, I often go for fresh and crisp colorways with great contrast. I don't do muddy in mousselines because it's difficult to see the details in one layer, let alone multiple layers once folded. So I thought I would pass on it, but it's stuck in my greedy mind until I gave in.
It's a stage where I like things that are not exactly my usual cup of tea. I think of it like a boy who is in love with a girl who is not pretty, because the girl is special and attractive to the boy's own eyes :giggles:. No rhymes or rhythms whatsoever.
So, here's my chartreuse/chocolate Axis Mundi mousseline in a colorway that I'm sure will make a lot of people yawn when looking at, but it has me melted. Something earthy about it...

Love that the pine leaves details shown nicely in this colorway.

:love::love::love:

Is this current season????? I think it is .......beautiful........... :faint:
It will stick in my mind too ;) .......... just melted .............gorgeous!!

Desert scarf - Rose de compass 140 GM. Not because it's my favorite but because I could use it as a blanket at night, could maybe use the compass on it so I don't get lost, and it's bright so maybe someone will see me from above and I could get rescued. Favorite fruit - watermelon. A few pieces and I will feel full! See I'm a practical gal.
