Just wanna share with scarfies yet another crazy stage of my silk slope.
So, I have been thinking about this mousse for a looooong time, but couldn't decide because the colorway is so off my comfort zone. For mousselines, I often go for fresh and crisp colorways with great contrast. I don't do muddy in mousselines because it's difficult to see the details in one layer, let alone multiple layers once folded. So I thought I would pass on it, but it's stuck in my greedy mind until I gave in.
It's a stage where I like things that are not exactly my usual cup of tea. I think of it like a boy who is in love with a girl who is not pretty, because the girl is special and attractive to the boy's own eyes :giggles:. No rhymes or rhythms whatsoever.
So, here's my chartreuse/chocolate Axis Mundi mousseline in a colorway that I'm sure will make a lot of people yawn when looking at, but it has me melted. Something earthy about it...

Love that the pine leaves details shown nicely in this colorway.

Chestnutty Wow, I love this mousseline! Other than my blues, I love me some green and this is just so gorgeous! I think certain pieces just speak to us;)! You tied it so beautifully too!:smile1:

I want to share some of my moussie-family. Thank you.

Croisette, you have a gorgeous family;)! I have only one mousse family member, but can see how these little families grow quickly ;)!

Modeling pics coming right up! A few have also asked to see more of Le Monde est Vaste as well as BH so here they are.

MYH, ooooh I am so happy to see you posted more pics!! Do you know, when I first saw your photo of LMeV, I thought 'is there a Le Voyage de Pytheas mousse too?'! It reminds me of the inner map portion of my Pytheas so much! I love you BH too!

Vitamina, your Ours Bleus d'Afrique is a dream. I think, my moussie-family needs a blue member.

Oh Chestnutty, this is sooooooo gorgeous! It was on my list in this cw (hey, I'm a green girl) and somehow I got distracted by other things (duh). Big mistake, obviously; it's exquisite, and now on the list again.....

MYH, this neutral Monde set Vaste sent me over the moon when I first spied it on dear pierina, and now on you! It's such a soft cw, and neutral, but not without some color and contrast. Lucky you!

Hi All, I think I was enticed by TT's and SammyRoyal's earlier posting of this pattern and subconsciously went for the color after seeing Chestnutty's beautiful new moussie!

A couple of pics of my first (and not last) of the season, Casques et Plumets in cw #3…so bright and airy for summer!!! I love the blue border. The pictures do not do this cw justice:)

(I saw another cw that I may have to get as well! ):graucho:

Wow the colors are so fresh, Hopiko! Make me wanna get some kiwi to munch on right now!
I bet it will look great with a green dress or white tee and yellow skirt combo!

MYH you must know how fast I had to scroll past your mod pics. So enabling! Painfully enabling! Keep telling myself I already have another mosaic mousse (Mosaique au 24), not allowed to buy the BH, but my knees are weak...You temptress!

Dear Chestnutty!! Not yawning at all - but wanting this one, too!!! Now!!! ;) What a beauty and really wonderful on you!!!

Textilegirl - Have you got any AM mousse yet my dear? You may want to decide soon, last month when my SA checked there were not a lot available anymore in the U.S. I know AM colorways were kind of odd, I almost passed them all, but I figured perhaps I needed to step off my comfort zone for this mousse. After all, Axis Mundi 90cm was my first H carré and having its mousse format is a must for me.

Hopiko! We are twins...this looks fabulous on you. Which makes me worry a tad since our coloring is nothing alike and it is perfection on you - LOL!! I usually have to avoid green because it doesn't look good on me and I generally avoid blue because I don't much like it. But there was something about the aqua shade and the bright greens that made me fall hard for this one! Your modeling shots are fabulous!! Sure wish it would look nearly as good on me! ;)

Wow, this cw is GORGEOUS! I'm not a fan of green in general, but this looks stunning on you!
Major congrats, hopiko!

Croisette, thank you so much! That was so thoughtful of you:hugs: ! I would recommend her for any blue lover! This thread is so dangerous. I thought (and told DH) that my mousse would 'probably' be a one time purchase for me!:roflmfao:! Hee,hee! Now, I see that was a big 'ol lie! Ha! Which brings me to to Hopiko....
