Chestnutty your astonishing collection is a constant inspiration for me ! I absolutely looooove all your mousses and am privileged to be twin for a few ;-) Wear this last beautiful and delicate addition in good health :-)
Thank you dear! Your fuchsia PdV is such a beauty! I seriously debated becoming a twin with you on that. Sigh, such beautiful fuchsia and violet, brightening up my computer screen!
p/s: love your silk top, I could imagine it'll work well with blue azur mousselines!

After much hesitation here is my first mousse of the year...unusual colour for me but it eventually grew on me... View attachment 2541240
Congratulations Ayala! Your PdV moussie suits u very well. Originally I had the red one. But after going back & forth for a fortnight, I finally decided to exchange it for this one. I am happy with my decision & have never looked back. U will love this moussie more & more as time goes by!:smile1:

Thank you D Lee, actually my interest in the fuchsia stemmed from your modelling pic 😊 I was blown by the this glowing colour ! the pics from hermes website didn't do it justice. You are right more I look at it and more I love it because it has a real depth and lovely colour combination

I've gone back several weeks in this thread and you've helped me get over my hesitation to wear the several moussies I have sleeping in their boxes. I've always appreciated their delicate beauty but not so sure how to style them...especially since we suffer from cool weather and rain a good portion of the year. But I'm going to wear them this year!

Hi Brit,

I decided to keep the grey/chartreuse Peuple afterall - it started to grow on me. As for the chartreuse Guepards ..... i AM a cat lover, but that pattern doesn't do it for me.
scarfmischief1: Glad you decided to keep the grey/chartrueuse PdV. I think it's beautiful. I recently got the grey/green/purple one but love yours with the blues and yellows. A real wow!

1st-issue Jardin d'Armenie mousseline stole
Chestnutty: Love the way you've styled the stole and paired it with a skirt in a similar color. It's an intricate design and looks lovely on you.

ayala_jessica: We're also cousins on the PdV. I love the fushia/purple colors and they look pretty on you.

Thanks for enabling everyone!

Dear fellow mousse lovers!

New to this forum I posted a first short message this morning just to see if it is working... I am so clumsy with using forums but it worked! :smile1:

Dear hopiko, it was through you that I found this thread - and I am soo happy that I did!!! You posted three photos of your WONDERFUL Aux portes du palais in Jan. last year. I found the same cw while travelling but could not bring myself to buy it there and then...

Would anybody of you know how this feels....? Finding such a treasure but leaving it behind and then lusting after it for weeks and weeks... Torture, indeed!! ;)

However, looking at hopikos photos helped to ease the pain (page 170! - sorry, do not know yet how to add this in here otherwise). So, thank you sooooo much!!!

On Thursday I will finally have MINE... :yahoo: I just can't wait and will need to visit page 170 a few more times until then... Is this normal...?? ;)

I empathize with u & know exactly how it feels. I bought rather indiscriminately when I first started collecting scarves. It was less than a yr when I accummulated >50 scarves. This couldn't go on forever & so I eventually restricted myself to 1 scarf/design. I then looked at the photos of the cws I lusted but left behind & sulked!
