For reference purposes, some pics of the Peuple du Vent in c/w #01, ciel / terracotta / bleu.

Ordered this from H.com but it sadly wasn't a wow on me, it's on the way back to H. The border is quite coppery and would be absolutely stunning on a redhead. The blues are cool, they go with the slightly periwinkle Blue Lin and Brighton Blue. There's also some Ebene which contrasts nicely with the paler blue. The light pink looks much more prominent online than IRL. Beautiful and unusual colors.

So gorgeous in this cw, fabulous!

Thx Monceau! I loved this red the moment I cast my eyes on it & bought it. But then a dilemma set in. If H sells patterned & plain moussies at the same price, only fools would get the plain ones. I became unhappy.

Having decided to return the red H moussie, I actually ran to the local dept stores to try red moussies from other brands. Then I discovered why H doesn't do red moussies with much contrast. They are SO loud that even I, a bold color lover, don't want to wear. I came home & tried it on again. U can see the mod shot here. This is such a charming poppy color & it actually shows SOME contrast. I have decided to keep it but also get a second PdV which shows more contrast.

Wise decision

I have been looking forward to PdV ever since I heard of the impending issuance in the 140 mousseline format. Thank you hopiko, MYH and D Lee for sharing your respective colourways. Each are gorgeous and beautiful in their own ways. It really helps to narrow my pick.

Alas, my store didn't order cw 7 nor 11 which I would have liked to see/try in person. And red is not my colour. They did have 04 (rose vif/violet? but it was too similar to the rose vif Axis Mundi I already own) and the cw I ended up with which I think is a cw not so commonly seen in the recent mousse selection. Here is it, cw 09 rose/gris perle/noir.

Divine

As promised, I took two photos of my entire moussie collection. But then I discovered my Samsung Note camera doesn't have high fidelity. So if u wish to get a moussie based on my photos, u really shouldn't put too much confidence in them!:smile1::

Thx ms piggy! I have decided that I love this poppy red color which, coincidentally, is a close match to my RC Lindy. Yes, I will keep it but will also get either cw7 or cw11 when they show up at the local boutique.:smile1:

Dear D Lee, Sending many thanks for sharing your wonderful collection with us! :smile1: My favorite is the one sitting upper left. Is that Les Flots du Cheval, in CW12? Looks to be a beautiful deep pink! And so glad you've decided to keep the red, yay!

My first thought when I saw it folded was that it would be too girly with all the pink. But unfolded and tied, the gris perle and the noir balances out the pink.

Gorgeous, ms piggy, thanks so much for sharing! Looking forward to your modelling snaps! :smile1:

Wonderful eye candies, thanks for sharing D Lee..

Scarves for the angels (or just one )

Wise decision

Thx guys! I am so happy that I finally decided to keep the red PdV. Àll your encouragements had played an important part in my decision! Thx for your support!:hugs:

Yes, etoile, that is a Les Flots du Cheval I picked up last yr. The coloring is very similar to the pink PdV available now! Lovely!

Sensational! As you said, the border tempers the 'girliness' of the pink, actually very sophisticated :woohoo:

Lovely ms piggy i have a similar dress from hnm :)

Congratulations! Such a refreshing & feminine moussie. I have never seen H putting out such a beautiful soft pink. Very pretty indeed!

Thank you for the love ladies. It's great that H does a myriad of cw that appeal to and work on different appreciators.

dilsta indeed one of my best buys from H&M!

Lanit my dear this cw is coming my way, will post modeling pics ;).

I hope that this beauty works for you, Chestnutty, there's alot of depth and interest in this colorway. Fingers crossed!

It does evoke the feel of stained glass doesn't it, Maedi. The cw may appear lackluster in comparison to the other cw esp in photos. Mousse is hard to capture in pics let alone a soft cw like this. I like how it is on the sublime and nuance side, perfect for a non- contrast person like me. :D

Love seeing all the different cw, thanks for sharing pierina2. May the right one find you very soon!

Thanks ms piggy, I did find a mousseline HG recently which made this decision easier. :graucho:

This is soooop pretty. Very similar to the Guepards cw I recently saw at the store. But the pdv just adds so much more detail and interest. :).

Perhaps you will find one yourself, jp. :D

So gorgeous in this cw, fabulous!

Give it a try, papertiger, it's much more interesting on than when it's all folded up. ;)
