No, Maedi, I love your frankness & I agree with u completely! The red PdV IS dull & uninteresting. I was about to return it but changed my mind: I occasionally need sth plain when my tops are loud & busy. So I just treat my PdV as an overpriced plain moussie.

DLee, pardon my bluntness, but if this is really how you feel about it, why on earth would you keep it??? H makes several wonderful red mousselines (for comparison, I picked up the darker red Ceintures et Liens from a couple of seasons ago which has just a touch of contrast but still reads as "solid"). Why "settle"? From what you're saying, you're trying to slow down the growth of your collection, so this is the time to be really picky. Every single one should be LOVE, like your gut reaction to the CW 7 and/or 11, rather than trying to talk yourself into it or just pick something up because you "might" be able to make it work. Go return it and pick up the one you REALLY want!!

Thx for your comments. I wish to have a red moussie. I was looking at red moussies posted by tpfers AFTER purchase & managed to convince myself somehow patterns on red moussies aren't that revealing. Öf course, there could be revealing red moussies that I am unaware of. So could u kindly post your red Ceintures et Lien so I could reconsider my decision? TIA

Thx debwonger! U have been most helpful. Your red moussie is beautiful indeed! Congratulations! U see, my local boutique had only got the red & orange PdV at the time of my purchase. So I guess I had better view cw7 & 11 IRL first. But I really appreciate comment. Thx again!

Wonderful collection D Lee! I see the red fills the gap and I think you should keep it if you are happy with the lack of contrast. It is a beautiful cw.

D , what a beautiful and varied collection! I think the red looks wonderful! As Ms. piggy said, it appears to round out not duplicate! You should definitely take a peek at the other colorways, you probably have room for one or 2 more

Ok Ladies, totally agree with the above comments on the monochromatic nature of many of the PdV moussies. I was fortunate enough to get a look at quite a few of them at my boutique's holiday party and one came home with me. Not all are monochromatic and the colors in this cw are divine…at least in my opinion. I do not think the colors do it justice at all. And Lanit, my sister bought the fuchsia, it is sooooooo beautiful with the purple bits….you should consider it!

I was also blown away by this cw of guepards…it is not colors I would ordinarily be drawn to but they work, the grey and chartreuse with navy accents…I think it is perfect with my Orage B. So, without further ado….

I have been looking forward to PdV ever since I heard of the impending issuance in the 140 mousseline format. Thank you hopiko, MYH and D Lee for sharing your respective colourways. Each are gorgeous and beautiful in their own ways. It really helps to narrow my pick.

Alas, my store didn't order cw 7 nor 11 which I would have liked to see/try in person. And red is not my colour. They did have 04 (rose vif/violet? but it was too similar to the rose vif Axis Mundi I already own) and the cw I ended up with which I think is a cw not so commonly seen in the recent mousse selection. Here is it, cw 09 rose/gris perle/noir.

My first thought when I saw it folded was that it would be too girly with all the pink. But unfolded and tied, the gris perle and the noir balances out the pink.

Thx ms piggy! I have decided that I love this poppy red color which, coincidentally, is a close match to my RC Lindy. Yes, I will keep it but will also get either cw7 or cw11 when they show up at the local boutique.

Thx hopiko! I thought my closet was VERY crowded. But after seeing your stunning PdV cw11 & Guepards moussies, I suddenly discover there is room for both if I could lay my hands on them.
