DLee - your collex is outstanding! I think your red PdV is needed to fill the gap. You should keep it really. Thank you so much for posting a group shot to let us enjoy all your moussies. You are my moussie queen. :queen:
Thx MYH! I am keeping the red PdV but I pray that both cw7 & 11 will show up at my local boutique so I can grab a second cw. Both are stunning! I hope I don't eventually end up with 3 cws!:D

As promised, I took two photos of my entire moussie collection. But then I discovered my Samsung Note camera doesn't have high fidelity. So if u wish to get a moussie based on my photos, u really shouldn't put too much confidence in them!:smile1::

D Lee, THANK YOU for posting your amazing collection!! They are all so beautiful! I especially love your soft pink Quadrige! This is so airy and heavenly!!! (I must be on the lookout for this treasure!)

thx LB! I love moussies so much that despite the # I have, I still wish to get more! Yes, I agree the salmon Quadrige stole is outstanding. See, I usually love bold colors & busy designs, but I couldn't let this classic go & grab it. Hope u could acquire this in the near future!

For reference purposes, some pics of the Peuple du Vent in c/w #01, ciel / terracotta / bleu.

Ordered this from H.com but it sadly wasn't a wow on me, it's on the way back to H. The border is quite coppery and would be absolutely stunning on a redhead. The blues are cool, they go with the slightly periwinkle Blue Lin and Brighton Blue. There's also some Ebene which contrasts nicely with the paler blue. The light pink looks much more prominent online than IRL. Beautiful and unusual colors.

This is such a unique cw, Pierina, but I can see why you would return it, as this one might be limiting. PdV is such a perfect design for a mousseline, I hope you find the right one for you!:smile1:

D Lee, I like the Red PdV even more after seeing it with the other red based mousselines in your collection, it really looks like such a lovely shade. I do feel like the monochromatic PdV gives you an option when you don't want as much pattern in a scarf. We are twins on the pink Coup de Fouet, which I ran to find after seeing your modeling shots! Now after seeing your Red PdV, we might end up as twins on that one as well. I am looking for a good red, and this one is calling to me!

This is so beautiful to look at Pierina! It was my first choice at first but seeing it in your photos, am not sure it would look so great on me either. Yes, on a redhead or strawberry blonde, it would be divine. Thank you for letting us view it though. I'd love to see it at the boutique.

Thank you, Monceau. It was worth a try!

Well you can wear orange very well, lanit, so it might be better for you. It is lovely to look at, that's for sure.

Thank you, ms piggy. :smile1:

Very pretty and unusual, ms piggy. This one has the quality of a stained glass window to me.

It does evoke the feel of stained glass doesn't it, Maedi. The cw may appear lackluster in comparison to the other cw esp in photos. Mousse is hard to capture in pics let alone a soft cw like this. I like how it is on the sublime and nuance side, perfect for a non- contrast person like me. :D

Love seeing all the different cw, thanks for sharing pierina2. May the right one find you very soon!

Wonderful eye candies, thanks for sharing D Lee.
My first thought when I saw it folded was that it would be too girly with all the pink. But unfolded and tied, the gris perle and the noir balances out the pink.
That's exactly what I call mousseline layering power! In the plastic bags, there are folded into too many layers and the background looks strong, but when we wear, there are less layers and the colors show up just right. I had the same impression with my green Ors Bleus d'Afrique: yawned at first when I saw it in the plastic shipping bag, the green seemed too bright and too strong, but when folded, it's a much lighter and dreamier green.
You had a very unique cw, Ms Piggy. Very enabling and another great addition to your neutral + pale rose collection. It has some quality of finesse, too :smile1:.

This is soooop pretty. Very similar to the Guepards cw I recently saw at the store. But the pdv just adds so much more detail and interest. :).

Thx Monceau! I loved this red the moment I cast my eyes on it & bought it. But then a dilemma set in. If H sells patterned & plain moussies at the same price, only fools would get the plain ones. I became unhappy.

Having decided to return the red H moussie, I actually ran to the local dept stores to try red moussies from other brands. Then I discovered why H doesn't do red moussies with much contrast. They are SO loud that even I, a bold color lover, don't want to wear. I came home & tried it on again. U can see the mod shot here. This is such a charming poppy color & it actually shows SOME contrast. I have decided to keep it but also get a second PdV which shows more contrast.
