How interesting, DLee - I only have one mousseline stole and to be completely honest, I haven't even worn it yet...sigh. I do wear mousseline GMs quite frequently and, like you, never have a problem with wrinkles after I let them air a bit.

I am DYING to see a Galop Chromatique mousseline stole - at least I understand such a creature is supposed to be coming at some point - but no sign of one yet at my boutique...

Hi Luvbolide,
I saw the Galop Chromatique on the same visit when I bought my Chasse en Inde a couple of weeks ago. I am sure u will find the GC stole in your local boutique soon! Remember to do a reveal when u finally get your GC.

Bem, I saw your gorgeous capucine shoulder B on display. As usual, there is no price tag. Would u mind telling me how much u pay for it? Thx!

D Lee - I was just going through my notifications and realized that I missed this somehow. Apologies!! I believe that I paid US $11,700 for my SBII in the boutique. It was purchased in February. Hope that helps! And thank you for the info on mousse stole vs GM scarf pricing!

Please advise. It seems that several months ago Mai Tai showed a picture of the window at FSH which contained the Cheval du Karnac (I hope that is correct). I think it was a GM size shawl in green (light) with accents that looked rust-ish, orangey, etc. I believe that this shawl was included in the list of 2013 SS Mousellines. Does anyone have any info re: this shawl.
Help please, I see where it was just listed as a silk on the Hermes web site. thanks, best, bonnie

bjostone - The one on that window display is a silk jersey PM shawl, not mousseline. I have not yet seen Chevaux de Karnac in mousseline yet in store, neither has my friend who visited Paris boutiques two weeks ago.

I think I saw this as a 90 cm Jersey silk on h.com Germany. It is a cool scarf.

I saw the 140 Chevaux de Karnac moussie in the local boutique over a month ago. I was about to purchase this gorgeous moussie when I discovered that it was flawed. At the moment I have requested my SA to get me another one but a second Karnac has not shown up yet.

Ok, so I was just browsing in the small local boutique and a lady comes in to exchange something she had received as a gift the day before. Although it was lovely, she explained that she never wore this style. As I peeked over at the box as she showed the SA, I said......oooohhhhhh, I must see this! So, after she left the store, I asked the SA to show me the mystery moussie! Suffice it to say that it was even prettier than I had thought and it came home with me!

What is amazing about this one is that it is a changeant, but because it is so colorful, the color change is different depending on the primary color...I have tried to get photos to capture this phenomenon!

Presenting my new GM moussie:

I don't know how the lady could have brought this back, I fear for her sanity, it's beyond the most beautiful thing I have ever seen (and I kind of wish I'd never seen it now ;)) I have a CdF 90 twill and the design is so elegant anyway but this...:faint:

I just posted this in the S/S 2013 scarves thread but thought I should post here too. Galop Chromatique mousseline stole, CW8 (rose the/bleu gris/poudre). I love the pops of yellow!

The link was especially helpful (love those Mai Tai pics) as was the info re: German web site and it being available in Jersey silk. I was not sure if it was available in cash/silk.............dhuh....any news re: any other colors? Well having you on top of it is sure a relief. Thanks again, best, Bonnie
