This is Coup de Fouet cw8 noir/violet/ardoise. This really is an interesting cw. Folded differently, the mousseline looks like 2 entirely different scarves. Enchanting!

Oooohhhh D Lee, this one is gorgeous, too! I love the different colors featured depending on the way you fold. The shot of chartreuse/lime/soufre (??) is so pretty!!!

Very nice, DLee - you are sure finding some gorgeous mousselines!!
Thx Luvbolide, I have collected 4 mousselines since the moment u informed me that they are durable at the beginning of March. So I really must thank u for the encouragement. I have been wearing them for a month now & indeed they are made of sturdy material! Not a run or snag so far. But I spot cleaned a stain on one of them & the area became crinkly. Is this normal?

Spectacular! You're so right that it shows completely different colors in your two photos.

I love that burgundy shade on you!:smile1:
Thx, calexandre! I tended to purchase mousselines on the spot because they are so rare! Now that I have a sm collection of 4, I might slow down a bit.:p

OMG D Lee- every post of yours gets me in trouble!
You look exquisite, and now I must track this cw down as well.:graucho:
I've been away from my new goodies (boo hoo) but I hope to post a thing or two this weekend. I must find this cw of Coup, it is so sophisticated. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Monceau, vice versa, I have always kept an eye on your scarves. Ï love them. Fortunately here in the sub-tropics, we could wear CS GMs may be 2 months a year. And thus I am still in financial good health. But I still lament I let go of your fabulous grey Quadrige the first time it was offered to me. I have been hunting it down ever since but still without luck! Do show us your recent goodies. We all love to see them!

Thx kittyhawk, it surprised me totally the mousseline could look so entirely different depending on the way it had been folded! This is a very wearable mousseline & is the one I wear the most these days.

Thank you for this Chestnutty. Is this from SS 2013? I'm liking cw12. All these ribbon prints (Rubans) are the death of my bank account!

Hi DLee - so glad you are enjoying the mousselines. I wore one today myself!! Yes, it is normal to have that little crinkling effect when they get wet. Should come out if you iron it. Not sure how hot the iron should be as I've never done it myself. Were I trying to do it, I'd start on the cool side just incase. Others may have more/better advice on ironing!

Found the answer. These are the A/W 2012 designs :

Boy, are they late. I'm starting to see Axis Mundi and Coup de Fouet in the stores. Have yet to see Flot de Cheval.
Late here, too, Ms Piggy - saw the Coup de Fouets today for the first time...I am getting totally confused as to which season is which the way the mousselines dribble in!!

And the fact that some stores don't buy them and so do, makes it even more confusing. I just got the fuchsia Axis Mundi and now I see the Les Flots de Cheval in rose flo, too close and too similar?

Chestnutty, thank you for posting these! I too love that emeraude color... but I'm also very curious about the violet/caban/vert sapin. So glad H is doing so many colorways in these mousses.

So glad to be twins with you on the fuschia AM, Ms. Piggy! Isn't it glorious?

I do think the Flots is very different, even though the colors are somewhat similar-- botanical print vs. geometrical, and more tone-on-tone vs. the riot of colors in the AM. I suppose it depends on how much you love pinks! :D

:ghi5: calexandre, your pics of AM certainly helped a lot in my decision (plus the SAs all picked 07 when I was deciding on 07 and 08). Both cw are just beautiful.

Would love to hear comments/feedbacks on cw12 Flots from those who have seen it in person or better still with pics of it IRL. Agree it's more tone-on-tone. Perhaps if the colours IRL are more rouge, it would be "justifiable" to have both prints, LOL!

If Axis Mundi cw07 & les Flots de Chevel cw12 are too close & similar, what about the following two, Axis Mundi cw7 & Coup de Fouet cw10? Sometimes u don't understand the H marketing team. I guess I would have purchased both if they had shown up in different seasons. Now I only got one.

Which cw is your Coup de Fouet, DLee?

As Axis Mundi, les Flots de Cheval and Coup de Fouet are all from the same season, they will tend to have similar colourways in line with the season. From what I understand, H is trying to align the colourways of the the silk productions within the same season. So you will see similar colourways across the silks/shawls types and esp within the same type.

Thx for your advice, Luvbolide! I hurried to put my iron on the lowest setting & ironed the crinkly area after reading your post. And I am glad to inform u that all the crinkles are gone! :D Now in the sub-tropics, we are already in our summer attire & I am wearing mousselines way more than scarves. I am so happy to have assembled a sm collection just in time for the summer!
