I must agree with your observation. I just came back from H. All cw7 & cw8 have sold out & will not be restocked. I found the red les flots du Cheval not as interesting as Axis Mundi. See, I am not exactly on a roll with my scarf collection.
I must thank Chestnutty & all those who have contributed to the compilation of the Axis Mundi cws. It really is a great help to all those sitting on the fence! With the benefit of hindsight, if such a complilation had existed for the Ors Bleus d'Afrique, I am sure I would never have bought 3 cws!

I saw your gorgeous cw8. I saw Calexandre's stunning cw7. How can I not fret when I don't have either one.:cry: I think I need to employ Israeli-flavi's aggressive scarf acquisition strategy soon! If I don't get my red moussie soon enough, I am worried that my TIICE will become PIICE!
Do keep an eye on it (I mean red moussies)if u happen to drop by H. This is serious business.TIA!
UPDATED - Completed the Axis Mundi mousse cws. There are 7 colorways in total (at least in the U.S. as I'm aware). I'll summarize them up to make it easier for reference in the future. Reference code and cw code included in the file name.
S04: Chartreuse/Chocolat/Vert. Non-changeant.

Just picked up my Axis Mundi CW10, and had an interesting experience in the boutique. When I put it on, the SM and I both immediately noticed a lilac changeant effect! However, now that I've gotten it home, I can't seem to capture the color-shift that occurred in the boutique lighting.
Nonetheless, my guess, based on what the SM and I saw in the boutique-- and based on the colorway name-- is that this is a changeant mousse, but a very very subtle one because the color difference between the poudre and irise threads is not as dramatic as, say, the difference between the turquoise and fuschia threads in my Aux Portes, which has a very strong changeant appearance. Perhaps this would explain why D Lee and I didn't notice a changeant while looking at this moussie on previous occasions.
Oh, the mysteries of Hermes....
Anyway, a few pictures in different lighting, from my failed attempts to show you all the changeant.

Thx Calexandre! I don't seem to have much luck with moussies these days. The only red Flots in my country is slightly flawed & I am not happy. There are no more Axis Mundi cw 7 or 8 left. My only remaining choice, a red Aux Portes du Palaris, is not exactly a choice since this was from last season & is no longer available at local boutiques. Now I am waiting for the Ors Bleu d'Afrique moussie to arrive even though I have sworn not to get another Afrique pattern when I already have 3 cws!

Congratulations on your cw10! This is so pretty, with or without the changeant effect. I haven't worn it outside the home since purchase. One of these days I must examine it under good daylight to see if I could observe the changeant! Anyways, I am so glad to be twins with u on this one!

Now this Coup de Fouet has a special place in my heart because this is the first H scarf I bought for myself. Up to now, this is the only 90 scarf I've worn repeatedly!
Acting on your intelligence, I called the SAs from different boutiques to keep an eye on this cw10 fuchsia jaune/parme/rose for me. Never in a million yrs would I imagine that one of the boutiques actually had it in the previous day! In fact, I did tell this boutique that I was trying to get a red moussie a few days before. But as usual, H goods of all description fly out of local boutiques & there is no need to reserve things for customers, maybe unless that is a croc birkin with diamonds for their VVIPs! So it was really a stroke of luck that I got this cw in the nick of time. In fact, the remaining one(they got 2 cw10 in) was sold hrs after I was gone!
Once again, I must thank u & all those tpfers who have helped me in my search. U don't know how much joy I get from finally sourcing my dream moussie!
