Bonnie, I know that hopiko already answered you about this cw of the Axis Mundi but based on my extremely short amount of time obsessing over mousses, I do not believe that the tags will always indicate "changeant". The two changeant cws of the Axis Mundi I've seen IRL (the fuchsia I posted in this thread and a rose indien/encre/rouge) did not say changeant on their tags but they clearly were. I've also seen a slightly older Eperon d'Or mousse stole whose tag did say changeant -- but it wasn't! I am very curious to find out if there is a rhyme or reason to these and why not all cws of the same mousse design are changeants.

Thank you for educating me. I am intrigued by these changeants, but have not been overly successful in finding "new" ones. Yes, I see them on Evil bay, but I would like to hold the scarf, and see the play of color. If you don't mind, please keep posting, I would certainly be appreciative. Likewise, if I hear anything I will pass it on. SA pleads "doing research". Best, Bonnie

Together, we will conquer this mystery! :smile1: I'll try to ask my SA and SM next time I'm in the boutique, too. I must say, when I hold one of these beauties in my hands and see the shimmery iridescence of the changeant, it really makes my heart leap! I only own two changeants now but they are my #1 focus going forward -- since the cashmeres itch me and I keep receiving damaged summer twills, I need *something* to collect obsessively. :D But these are so hard to find, so it will be quite a challenge. Fun!

we will be "Changeant twins" in our mission..............actually, TT knows quite a bit about these lovelies, maybe she would also intervene................... I do not think I own a single one.............I have mousellines, which I love, but no changeants.......................I have tried with my SA................no info.........but thats okay "WE are TPF ers, we will prevail!" best, bonnie

Keeping the momentum here...for reference (and you green lovers out there) posting pictures of a beautiful changeant that my sister picked up last week! "Les Flots du Cheval" in an hunter green to burgundy weave. The color is soooo rich.
THIS is wow o wow!!!! And I don't have any green,,,,,any ideas on who stocks these? Also, I have to ask (curiosity),,,in the second pic, there's a blue (?) one in a box, yes? Which one is that? TIA

Oh doh!! It's the Aux Portes du Palais, right? Looks amazing!

Hi Bonnie - If you like the simple blue Mosaique au 24, there's a blue changeant one at the boutique in Charlotte. Here are some modeling pics:

Also, if my memory doesn't fail me, some Kelly en Perles (4x) as posted on US website are changeant. You may give the customer service a call to confirm that.
I own 2 colorways of the Mosaique: blue (turquoise/greenish changeant) and mauve (copper changeant) and love both.

Or, be twin with TankerToad on this BNWT changeant as well, from a reputable seller. The price was $899 before and was slashed to $699 (nobody thinks of mousseline in the winter) - great deal.

Mousselines are tricky to find and not available in all cw to try on. Each small store podium orders only about 3-4 for each season (except big stores like Madison and LV).

Thanks! I am only the enabler to these two beauties, they are both my sister's ....the one in the back is the Axis Mundi, and it is not a changeant (but boy, is it beautiful!)

But, my new PaP...oh....SOOOO.........PRETTY! I and seriously thinking about getting the cw that kittyHawk posted!

The NY boutiques usually have a couple of these, but they are definitely scarce and rarely on display!

Oh hopiko, this is magnificent!!! What a gorgeous cw and to go from green to burgundy is sooo rich and elegant. I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for this one. Thank you for posting!

Yes, I can't wait to see what other colors this may come in. Thanks for posting the PaP...I am seriously debating this one. Wish I could see it in a boutique. The website never does these justice!

Thanks! Wish it were mine, but I get to admire and borrow!

Chestnutty, thank you for all of the direction. I bought the Changeant on Love All Bags (or whatever it is) and am now twins with TT. YOU are enabling! Bad girl, but I love it, thank you. Also SA is looking for me..................who knows? thanks again, best, bonnie

Mousse lovers, I've just seen an Axis Mundi colorway that I don't think has been mentioned here. It had a poudre background with yellow, taupe, and green accents with a green hem. Absolutely exquisite. This colorway really shows off the detail in the pattern. I would have snapped it up, but I just don't wear those colors often enough to justify it. It was so pretty I went back to the store twice to make certain I didn't think I'd wear it enough for the expense.

I am definitely in love with the Axis pattern-- Hopiko and others who've seen the blue colorway in person, do the delicate details of the leaves and flowers come through in it? Those are the bits that (for me) make this pattern sing in the delicate mousse material.

Dear Calexandre - Do you by any chance remember the cw#? That sounds like something I can wear. The idea of buying the fuchsia cw is kind of not really "me", as it's too feminine to my personality.
To be blatantly honest, the non-changeant petrole blue cw was tough on me, couldn't see the contrast unless pairing with white clothes and under certain lighting. Of course somebody else better than me in silk department can definitely pull it off beautifully.

Chestnutty, I stupidly didn't look at the actual colorway number! Maybe your SA could see it in the computer by using the reference number from the fuschia colorway, which is 342025S07? If there's one available, it should show as a combination of poudre and moutarde. It is really gorgeous-- I hope you find one. I'm still fantasizing about it!

By the way, I took a look for something else we had discussed while I was in there, and saw the dark blue but not the black. I didn't have time to make it down to the other boutique, however, so I'll go back and take another look there.

Thanks also for the intel on the petrole CW. Hmmm, I really do want those lovely little leaves and flowers and insects to stand out. I wonder if H has made any other as-yet-unseen colorways in this mousse?? The fuschia looks quite contrast-y, but I don't know if I could pull it off if it's a changeant to yellow.

Well, I have answered my own question-- they had the fuschia at the other boutique near me.:graucho: Chestnutty, I'm going back to the first boutique to see if I can get the number of the poudre for you.

Also saw the blue and I agree it's very subtle-- very moody and ethereal. Gorgeous but not exactly what I was after.
