Hopiko, if you don't mind posting a couple pics of CW 09, I would love to see it! I only saw it through the protective plastic at the boutique so I couldn't tell if the design was prominent, etc. That is so interesting that this cw is not a changeant - is that "normal" that certain cws of a particular mousse design are changeants and others aren't?

Here you go! (Please forgive the lousy pictures!) It appears very light in these pictures, when worn, it is much more subtle. It is an absolutely beautiful, elegant shawl. My sister also bought the "Rubens" in a Emerald to burgundy changeant...if you like rich greens, it is TDF!!

Thanks for taking the time to post these, hopiko! I love the modeling shot and this cw really shows the beautiful design. The emerald Rubens sounds amazing!!!! Do you happen to recall the season of the Rubens? I'd like to track it down!

I think the pink one in this photo is the fuchsia colorway of the Axis Mundi mousseline (CW 07 Fuchsia Jaune/Ardoise/Rose).

Thanks Chestnutty for posting this here! That is definitely cw 07. IRL, the colors are softer and more muted, with the prettiest yellow/orange changeant. I can't wait to see more cw's of this one.

Changeant
I have posted this scarf before but I love it so, however a tPFer (you know who you are) asked to see it with Ms Orage. This changeant has a blue tint and a pink tint depending on the light. It is difficult to capture the magic of this scarf in a photo. It is almost alive IRL.

Snuck off to a tropical paradise and the best part was that it had not only beaches, clear waters and great food...but an H boutique as well! As was fitting, the store had the biggest selections of mousselines I have ever seen. I was lucky enough to pick up this beauty I had not seen IRL before:

Aux Portes du Palais changeant in Turquoise fuchsia/vert ( thé changeant is purple--well, technically I guess it is fuchsia but it looks purple to me!) and Axis Mundi in Blue/Vert/Aubergine
Good morning, is the Axis Mundi in that CW a changeant? Also, will it say "Changeant" on the tag?
Thank you, your pictures are beautiful................I want to be there wearing blue and white.......................best, bonnie

Oh, TT, this looks absolutely amazing! I just love your combo, the orage with La Mer changeant....swoon!!!

Hi Bonnie, with 18 inches of snow falling here last night, I too wish I were back there in a tank top, capris and a beautiful mousseline! The axis mundi in this colorway is not a changeant, the PaP is, to the loveliest changeant to a purple/fuschia color! I have found that the changeants are a slightly lighter/softer weave. I still need to post pictures of a beauty my sister picked up in emeraude burgundy changeant, I think the pattern is les flots (not Rubens as I said above...oops)

Keeping the momentum here...for reference (and you green lovers out there) posting pictures of a beautiful changeant that my sister picked up last week! "Les Flots du Cheval" in an hunter green to burgundy weave. The color is soooo rich.

TT, this is sooo beautiful and perfect with Ms. Orage! And you did a great job of capturing the changeant though I know it's probably 100 times more magical IRL. I wish there was a way to bottle up the shimmer!

Bonnie, I know that hopiko already answered you about this cw of the Axis Mundi but based on my extremely short amount of time obsessing over mousses, I do not believe that the tags will always indicate "changeant". The two changeant cws of the Axis Mundi I've seen IRL (the fuchsia I posted in this thread and a rose indien/encre/rouge) did not say changeant on their tags but they clearly were. I've also seen a slightly older Eperon d'Or mousse stole whose tag did say changeant -- but it wasn't! I am very curious to find out if there is a rhyme or reason to these and why not all cws of the same mousse design are changeants.

Oh hopiko, this is magnificent!!! What a gorgeous cw and to go from green to burgundy is sooo rich and elegant. I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for this one. Thank you for posting!
