Gorgeous, TT - I have several mousse GMs, but, alas, no changeant and I love them so!! This is fab with your BH Picotin!!

Thank you. Agree it is perfect with the Pico. The changeants are so special. I love to photgraph them. They never look the same twice. They are almost magical. My boutique gets so few of them, I often look for them when I travel.
This one is my very favorite because of the bluish tint it gets in some lights.

Snuck off to a tropical paradise and the best part was that it had not only beaches, clear waters and great food...but an H boutique as well! As was fitting, the store had the biggest selections of mousselines I have ever seen. I was lucky enough to pick up this beauty I had not seen IRL before:

Aux Portes du Palais changeant in Turquoise fuchsia/vert ( thé changeant is purple--well, technically I guess it is fuchsia but it looks purple to me!) and Axis Mundi in Blue/Vert/Aubergine

Sounds like a perfect dream. Now, I am back at at work in cold, dreary, rainy NY :sad:but at least I have a lovely new changeant to remind me of the sunnier times!:smile1:
This is so beautiful, the scenery and the mouss. It is fitting that the island H had Mousselines. I live mostly in a cold place and our H boutique almost never gets Mousselines and like you I have to get them when I travel. I can think of no more lovely momento of your getaway then such a special silk.

Thanks, TT...high praise coming from someone with such lovely mousselines! And, you are so right, perfect place to buy! The island had more mousses than I have ever seen in any other boutique....and they are so perfect! I was there to celebrate a birthday with a "0" at the end, so certainly deserved a treat (or 2)!!:smile1:

I just got my first mousseline today which I scored from very nice reseller. I am so exciting but at the same time worrying about the snags/pulls as it looks so delicate. My work horse scarf is Alexander McQueen chiffon scarf and it runs sooooo easily which I don't mind because it's black color and looks okay with it. However my mous is white and I was hunting this for such a long time so I don't want to ruin her yet want to enjoy her as much as possible. Can anyone tell me how to care mous and how delicate are they? Anything I should be aware of prior to use? Thanks.

I have several of the GM mousselines and I don't feel that they are fragile at all. They do seem so delicate, but I haven't had any issues at all, so wear your new beauty and enjoy...which one did you get?!?

Fellow mousse lovers, does anyone have intel on the Axis Mundi mousseline including a list of the colourways and whether all cw's are changeants? I have seen the following IRL and am dying to know if there are others I have missed:

CW 08 Rose Indien/Encre/Rouge appears to have a fuchsia-y changeant color while the overall cw is quite monochromatic with the entire design in encre and the deep rouge background.

CW 07 Fuchsia Jaune/Ardoise/Rose - appears to be a yellow changeant and when overlaid with the predominantly fuchsia background, almost orange-ish in spots. This cw is VERY colorful and sweet, with the design in the ardoise, orange, yellow, rose and fuchsia.

CW ? Blue/Vert/Aubergine - not sure if this is a changeant? The design does not really "pop" because of the dark colors but beautiful like the sea.

If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it!! TIA!

This all sound achingly beautiful. I am so looking forward to seeing them IRL.

Blue, vert, aubergine is not a changeant and it is cw # 9. My sister picked it up last week. If anyone wants pics, I can post. I also saw the CW 7 and I agree with your assessment. # 8 sounds dreamy! Must find!

Hopiko, if you don't mind posting a couple pics of CW 09, I would love to see it! I only saw it through the protective plastic at the boutique so I couldn't tell if the design was prominent, etc. That is so interesting that this cw is not a changeant - is that "normal" that certain cws of a particular mousse design are changeants and others aren't?
