Cheapest country to buy LV

Does anyone know how the US compares to the UK in pricing? Headed over there in two weeks and wondering if I should pick something up!

Hello in my opinion is much cheaper to buy LV in US, the pound is really expensive by comparison to US dollars and your buck goes a long way better in US.. Also you have the population which means there a heaps of good 2nd buys as well. If you are heading to europe, maybe a great place to look for LV is in France. Also they are pretty cheap in australia, but comparison to UK. Small remote popultation, only a few get it!

I bought an LV from the Lisbon store once, it's about 25-30 Euros more than the price on France website. The service was okay (not very impressive, perhaps that one SA wasn't friendly). If I remember correctly I got about 10% back. My last EU port on that trip was Frankfurt, so that's where I did my tax refund. The process was relatively easy (except that I spent forever looking for the customs office for the stamp!). You can ask them to refund you in Euros if you don't want to change into USD right away (especially now when USD is so weak). Oh, I would also recommend cashing it right away (for a small fee) rather than sending it in by post and waiting hopelessly for the refund to show up.

I hear HKg is cheaper, in Singapore a slight difference in USA.

France is the cheapest. Rest of Europe (€ countries) the products are about 1,5% more expensive than France, don't know about UK though, they have a different currency. =)
