Cheapest country to buy LV

So overall consensus; cheaper in Europe? I live in Sweden, but LV is 4-5 hours away, that's why I thought i'd take the plunge and buy my first piece when I go to NYC this summer, plus it would be more "special" to buy one abroad. But i'm guessing it's much more expensive there, with tax and all?

cause it is a little bit cheaper plus you get tax refund which is a great bonus
I agree. We pay through the nose for every brand it seems, hence why I buy so much online.
Value added tax, it's just a sales tax on goods. I think it's 19.6% in France and is already included in the price.
You'll be able to claim the VAT back so bring your passport and ask the SA for the forms.
It may be cheaper to pay in Euros as the conversation rates on charge cards tend to be lower.
Agree. France is much cheaper for LV goods compared to Australia especially with the strong Aussie dollar.
