Thank you SO much! I gave it a try and got the black & pewter one... I've never used Buyee before..fingers crossed it all works out!
You really cracked the code... now we need to figure out a way to get on japanese poshmark and for Brand Dear Auctions bags :graucho:

I’m going to join the Buyee love fest. And to throw ice water on it.

I’ve probably purchased at least 25 bags through Buyee. Their prices are great and shipping is quick (at least before prices went crazy in Japan too).

But please beware that you have no recourse if there are any issues with the bag. Buyee is a proxy and will not intercede on your behalf to seek a remedy from the seller. Even if the problem is blatant and easy to prove, Buyee will not get involved. The seller doesn’t know you from Adam since they only sold to Buyee and not to you, so they don’t owe you even an explanation. You have buyer protections on VC, eBay, Mercari (US), PM etc. You don’t on Buyee.

I’m a frequent shopper there, I authenticate myself, and I have a very high risk tolerance when it comes to Balenciaga bags. But I’ve been burned on Buyee a few times and just swallowed it. Please keep these risks in mind before shopping through Buyee.

I figured this, Great info though! Hoping amex can do something in the worst case scenario?

This is totally true, glad you pointed this out. I've noticed some listings now say "appraisal option available" have you tried this out at all? Curious to hear feedback on that service.

yes, Amex can do a lot and then Buyee banned me from the site LOL. Photos were great, the bag was garbage in person, and Amex covered it all but Buyee were so mad that they sent me numerous angry messages. But before, when I tried to ask them for help with the buyer they kept sending the same crap by various names ..I did have a few good purchases, but that last one was a horror story. Just be prepared and have AMEX ready.

Looks like it failed another inspection & the seller’s added a “mini hole” on the back to the description— but hasn’t lowered their asking price

Did Amex require you to send the bag back to have the credit card charges reversed?
