I have this exact same “problem”. I love working from home but it does make buying/collecting handbags a little more challenging. I pull my bags out like once a month just to admire cuz otherwise they’d never see the light of day!😂

I'm also WFH and the 11lb dog who needs one+ hour walks is the greatest reason why my bags get taken out... also why I favour Hobos & Besaces!

I have a catahoula but he’s old and a lazy beast 🤣
We have just under 3 acres so we let him out and he roams around and then comes back to the porch when he’s done lol

We used to own a ranch that was over 100 acres. When we first moved there, my daughter asked where we were going to walk the dog since there were no sidewalks!

DH needs a walk every day for his heart but I never carry a bag for that. All I bring is my phone.

My beagle makes me walk 2 hours a day min and all I have is stuff in pockets of Eddie Bauer Guide Pro pants. Keys, phone and earbuds on a chord.

At work I love when students compliment my bags but I don’t want colleagues to know what I carry. It is somewhat of a competition who will look more miserable and minimalist for classes. Physicists all dress like they just came from hiking, or messy work…..terrain boots, cargo pants…..I have colourful ponchos, fun Doc Martens and my Bals (works, Velos and weekenders), and I really stand out, not that I want to. I tone it down for staff meetings but in class I know that kids love when someone brightens their day. Students are also dressed in muted colors, in black, dark green and white, current fashion is really dull. I brighten first of all MY day and then theirs as well.
