If height is 16” then the handle would be around 8” drop . What got me was the strip on the back which goes over carry-on luggage handle ❤️ I have a gentle pink pivoine bag similar to this, tall luggage but slimmer because it does not have have the front pocket , drop is 7”, easily a shoulder bag

I could easily carry this one because pivoine is so fragile, I don't dare take it for trips. But I can justify it at all because I have both grenat AND bordeaux WEs.

What was the original retail price of this bag?
A lot of outlet stores used to do this — stores like Off Saks, Nordstrom Rack, Neimans Outlet, etc

It wouldn’t be uncommon to find designer bags with numbers written inside either on the tag or sometimes on the lining
Sometimes that was the outlet price, other times there was no explanation as to what the numbers meant

Original retail was $2,950! $1,475 would sound like an outlet price, very interesting! Thank you for the insight! I always like learning about all these hidden meanings lol

Thats probably what it is then
50% off could very well be the outlet store price (department stores wouldn’t do this even if they did mark them down this low). Have you ever seen a pair of shoes with numbers written on the bottoms? Thats almost always an outlet price/marking
