I'm also confused about his ex Brooke since they divorced in 2011 but there are texts from her saying he may have exposed her, unless she is talking about how long he was positive before he actually got the test. I do hope for his kids sake he is able to turn some of this around and get as healthy as possible.

Any woman involved in a relationship with him had to know, at least on some level, that she was at risk of getting something. The guy has long had the reputation in Hollywood of banging anything that moves. Many of the women who were attracted to him may be as sexually reckless as he is.

he wasn't been reported with anyone "reputable" in the last few years. hookers and porn stars. if anyone comes down with the disease/tests positive, he could probably claim they gave it to him...or got it through someone else, because of their lifestyle choices.

He said head aches and night sweats - he was hospitalized as he thought he had a brain tumour so they ran tests and found the virus

If I recall, I think Brooke couldn't get ahold of Charlie as he was ignoring her so she reached out to his friend/assistant to see if he could facilitate a meeting

I agree. I also think it's definitely part of the reason he has been able to keep this quiet for so many years.

I simply don't believe her, I think she's covering her tracks. I think it's possible he didn't tell directly during their time together but someone definitely has brought up the rumors to her since then.

I think she just has to pretend she had no idea to avoid a backlash against her for keeping it a secret. I don't think it would have been her business to tell anyhow but there would be plenty of "she endangered other women" talk if she admitted she knew.

I would not be surprised if Charlie sheen did not contract HIV from sex. I'd be willing to bet he's used some needles along with drug use. It's far easier for a man to catch HIV from sharing needles than sex. But his spex-capades were surely out of control.. so who knows.

But you can't go around living this devil-may-care lifestyle of drugs & unprotected sex with prostitutes & who knows what other questionable partners, and expect everything to be fine. It's Russian roulette. He made those choices, and now he has to live with the consequences.
