I'm still confused over how widespread this rumour was before the last week. On the internet everyone's been saying that it's been a longstanding rumour in Hollywood for 2-3 years. If it was so widely known surely the women he was with would at least have had some idea. How can Bree Olson not have heard anything from the HWood rumour mill before this week? Maybe she had heard but assumed it was after their time together.

Yes. Matt Lauer asks him if the tiger blood/winning was a result of finding out about the diagnosis and he says no that episode was more "roid rage" but then he sort of admits that the steroid dosing was linked to the diagnosis.


This part is from a Daily Beast article with Bree Olson talking about the time during his "winning" phase...

“He just admitted right in that [Today] interview that [the diagnosis] is during the ‘tiger blood’ time. That’s when I was with him!” she continued. “I was living with him. We were sleeping together every night. [He] never said a thing, ever. ‘I’m clean,’ he told me. ‘I’m clean, I’m clean,’ because I didn’t want to use lambskin, I wanted to use regular condoms… I trusted him.”

In his interview with Lauer, Sheen described the side effects he faced living with HIV, including a series of debilitating “cluster headaches and migraines,” as well as night sweats.

“I remember that [sweating],” Olson said. “He would wake up all the time in the middle of the night complaining of these symptoms, and he would blame it on steroids—these steroids he took.”

Indeed, during his Today chat, Sheen chalked up his “tiger blood” time to “‘roid rage.”

“A doctor came to the house all the time and they’d go into a room by themselves,” added Olson. “He always told me, ‘This is for my steroids.’”

While Sheen claimed that many women had shaken him down in the past, Olson was adamant that she’s been an incredibly loyal ex. “I never went and sold any of my stories,” she said, even claiming to have turned down a $200,000 offer for a sit-down interview following their split.

I think most people probably feel this way.

Don't get me wrong, I do not wish HIV on anyone. But you can't go around living this devil-may-care lifestyle of drugs & unprotected sex with prostitutes & who knows what other questionable partners, and expect everything to be fine. It's Russian roulette. He made those choices, and now he has to live with the consequences.

This is crazy! I'm sure there are ppl out there that would have sex with him knowing he has HIV but I just don't believe anything that he says, at all.


It's amazing to me that people are calling him brave for admitting to the public. He had unprotected sex with ppl and didn't share his status that's not something a brave person would do.

I don't think he's brave. The *only* reason he came out now was because his hand was being forced, and his publicist probably told him he had to get in front of the Enquirer story.

Brave would have been admitting it sooner or 4 years ago, instead of paying people to keep his secret.

Gaga posted something on IG calling him brave. A brave person doesn't need to be forced to tell! There's no telling how many more people he would have infected had this not come out.


Also, what's his deal with prostitutes? Can he only get the ones he has to pay for?

This is surprising to me. I thought the chance of contracting it would be much higher, but after googling it is 1 in 1250 exposures per the cdc. Although I find her outrage a little unbelievable considering she is attributing his other crazy actions to steroids, and also continued to live/sleep with him and in her profession you would think she would make him show test results before sex if nothing else to protect her livelihood in the porn industry. He is still disgusting though and I don't believe for a second he disclosed to his partners. I'm also confused about his ex Brooke since they divorced in 2011 but there are texts from her saying he may have exposed her, unless she is talking about how long he was positive before he actually got the test. I do hope for his kids sake he is able to turn some of this around and get as healthy as possible.

I've read about the texts Brooke sent to his assistant about her possibly being exposed, I assumed it referred to him not knowing how long he had it before his results in 2011.
Since he found out because of his symptoms, I wonder how long you have HIV before having those symptoms - can you have it for years before showing symptoms?
