Urghh I just watched the interview, he's more subdued than he's been the last few years but he's still a chaotic hot mess. His disheveled suit said it all.

You'd be surprised how many people WILLINGLY have unprotected sex with those with STDs/STIs...I just don't get it.

I know right, I know so many people who take crazy chances. I don't get it either.

Well it seems all his ex's didn't know. Bree Olson implied that yesterday saying she had heard the rumours this week about her ex BF HIV status but didn't know anything.

She's on Howard Stern this morning...

So some random guys at Sony knew the rumour about Sheen over a year ago but she only heard the rumours this week?

studios are more concerned about drug use being exposed or an actor not showing up for a shoot, than their HIV status.

But when the studio insured him against the former things, he'd have to take a physical for insurance purposes, wouldn't he? And his status would come out then.... but then again they probably didn't care even if they knew.

I wonder if his tigers blood rants he used to go on was his own delusional way of dealing with finding out?

That makes a lot if sense. For that, I will give him some leeway.

But, as a public figure, he has spoken out completely irresponsibly and falsely about the realities of drug addiction.

I guess we cannot expect more from an addict, but it's terrifying to see him give the green light to the public about such a deadly disease (addiction).

HIV is just one of the actual realities - and one he can't sell to anyone as "winning".

Bree Olson was on Howard Stern just now - she said he NEVER told her his status, infact told her he was "clean" when she asked why he wants to use lambskin condoms (which are not as effective as latex as protection against HIV) and once she moved in with him they started having unprotected sex

She has tested HIV negative

In my former life when I worked in insurance for the entertainment industry, there would be no coverage created specifically for this...if the studio was sued, it would probably fall under general liability. When the studio insures the talent (mostly big names especially where action scenes are involved) they're only looking to protect what they've put up to make the film if the actor dies or is injured and the film can't finish production. I doubt they care about health status...drug/alcohol usage and martial issues ranks higher and they only care about that from the film's marketing perspective.

bolded for emphasis!

sadly, Studios care about the image. A male actor that beats his wife and in trouble with the law, is more important than HIV status.
